          • @Ozb101: Yes but I was getting into the spirit of mispronunciation with everyone else.
I thought of doing honda, hopped wheat.

  • Perfect preparation for the upcoming film.

    • Sense of humor is 👌 here lol

Now, if only Namco and Sega would do a Tekken collection/ Virtua Fighter collection (that includes both arcade and console editions in the package)

  • When I was a kid my brother legit tried to ha-do-ken me in a fight over the SNES.

  • I’ve had this game since launch. Played it for the first time today and here we are (Xbox)

  • Does anyone else experience serious lag when attempting online play?

    Such a great collection..

  • Awesome, just grabbed

  • Wish it had xmen v sf

  • wow for the price of 3 credits you can have 12 arcade cabinets , what a time to be alive. I guess at this price should I get it again even though I already have it on 4 platforms

    • You had to live in 90s to see the value though

    • When I got SF 2 CE on the Mega Drive I justified it by saying that after playing it 60 times I'll start seeing value from it ($1 per press start screen). Got more my moneys worth and more (used the samevphilosophy for NBA JAM).

I got this collection on release on Xnox, collected it on PS and pc later on. Added the Switch version today

    • 3 credits? i remember it was 60cent per credit or 2 for $1. I feel old.

    • Damn, that’s pretty cool

  • $6.74 on steam for PC, an ATL

  • I haven't played since the original, might as well wait for 50th Anniversary Collection

    1. The AI is crazy cheaty as per the arcade cabinets, at least SF2 turbo but iirc this may have been the worst of them
    2. I never felt like the switch controller was robust or even just big enough for this

I bought it on release and gave up after one or two sessions

    • I use the official SNES retro controller for the Switch, but yeah, the Street Fighter II arcade AI (which this seems to be a straight emulation of) has a narrower difficulty range than the SNES version (which had both harder and easier difficulty settings than you can get here, so was great for introducing young kids to the game and also adding challenge for replayability).

The arcade AI is definitely less "fair" too; it seems rely on tricks like inhuman reaction times and peeking at your inputs, rather than creative fighting tactics. It also seems to "rubber band" more (ramping up it's difficulty after a few matches to kill you and free up the arcade cabinet for another customer, etc).

Still great fun to play though, especially with your kids. Mine are all 10+ now, so it's the one game they still can't defeat me in 😂

    • It's a skill level thing. I've cleared all the versions of SF in the arcades on one coin in the past and human players have cheese strategies too against each opponents.

      • Who did you use. My guess is Ken

      • I've done a straight arcade run of Street Fighter II - double perfects EVERY round as Ken. I was on fire George Costanza Frogger style!
Super Street Fighter II Turbo has the REALLY bad/unfair AI.

  • Time to get that 8bitdo m30 controller out.

  • Ah, bought the Street Fighter Alpha 3 one just a few weeks ago.

  • I remember the blisters that would form on my thumb from the rolling the keypad so intensively
