    • Wait till it goes for $50, maybe buy then

      • When was it?

        • Never was, don't think will be

          • @sun sunny: I bought it $130 and it was definitely worth it at that price

      • it goes for $50

I will wait for it to hit $150 and label it a Airculator.

  • How does this compare to the cheaper Woozoo and the DC Vornados?

  • "Hey boss we got these Woozoos comin' out the waazoo here!"

  • Has DC motor and mentions it's eeficient,…….but zero mention of whether 240 V or USB rechargeable anywhere ?

    • It's obviously a 240v lol

      • Why so obvious? I have a similar re-chargable unit.

        • Why do you need a rechargeable pedestal fan? You take it to the park or something?

          • @Save 50 Cent: Because many people use these off grid, often camping where Not using a 240 V inverter is more efficient.

            • @ozhunter68: Oh i think this is a bit too big to take camping but that could be me.
I have a much smaller camping ceiling fan that does the job and packs really small

        • Mains powered should be assumed unless stated otherwise.

It’s like being annoyed that the Toyota Corolla doesn’t advertise whether or not it has massage seats.

  • $79.99 instore

    • But $89.99 with free shipping

    • Thanks - i've often wondered if there's an easy way to find the instore prices on things like this. I'm about 20 mins away from Costco, so always trying to decide if the difference is worth driving in or not.

      • Not as far as I know - I saw it instore after seeing this deal posted this morning.

      • I usually call the warehouse to confirm the price and stock availability before driving down.

    • 87.19 (88.93 with service fee) on doordash. I guess -20% with discounted GC.

  • The best fan I own tbh. Bought it for $130 and it's quieter than the shark. The controller could be better though

    • does it use a wall charger, or is it battery-powered?

      • Not battery powered unfortunately. The cable is built in as well

  • Good fan, we have 3. Motor is excellent, lots of power and very quiet. It's clear most of the manufacturing cost went into the motor. You won't need to use full speed in a bedroom, maybe in a living room.

Touch controls are awful and there's no way to permanently turn off the LEDs. They will turn back on every time you adjust speed, oscillation…

Fan remote has awful range too and will turn on the LEDs whenever you use it.

Oscillation itself is unique and can either do a standard left to right or a 360 pivot mode.

Coming from a Dyson, I wish it had a phone app to control it too. Oh well, at least the fan motor itself is excellent.

    • You could get a Broadlink and control it via app.

Can this angle up 45 degrees and oscillate 360 degrees?

    • Does it move enough air at quiet speeds though? I have the vornado DC533 and it’s noisy af when setting it to a power that actually moves air.

  • better than Vornado 533DC Air Circulator ?

  • Great fan, bought it for $30 used on Gumtree in the middle of winter in July. It is small compared to a 40cm fan thus it needs more rpm and directs air in a much smaller cone rather than 'fanning' it out like a normal 3 - 5 blade fan.
