Oh nice, hadn't even looked at the second hand market for ram honestly. Thank you!

Hey Luke, I've been a long time lurker of your posts just waiting for the day to either build or purchase a gaming computer and was...

I wasn't in any rush, and was planning to start building at the end of the year but saw this and thought it was really good.

I'm not really familiar with how the AMD compare to Intel, is a ryzen 5 similar to i5? Because if so would that build be the same if not...

Yeah I think the packaging was incorrect, it was booted up with the same specs but the model was 15-EK0054TX and it was definitely a 15"

Thanks for the info, The games I play are valorant, csgo, warzone and a bit of civ 5. I would be plugging it into a 27" 144hz HP monitor...

That is a pretty banging rig there. I would however just prefer to get a new PSU if I was to get a new rig.

Any reason I'd get a new psu? I'm more worried about the motherboard on my current setup whether that's slowly frying.

as I said to Axel, I will be playing games like gta v, Anthem and battlefield but just listed the games I commonly play.

I do intend to play other games like Anthem, GTA V and Battlefield but those are just the most common games I will be playing

At the cost I can get a 2060 for, Wouldn't I be better off just going the extra mile and getting an entirely new system?...

Nah he isn't into gaming at all, i'm just using his discount haha. All good man, thanks for your assistance i'll see what I can come up...

It's a corsair 650W 80+ Gold, figured that'd be the best part of my system since it's the newest

That's a good point but I recently moved from Melbourne to South Gold coast so don't know many people that game here ahaha

So if the GPU would be alright to upgrade, is there anyway to test the rest of the system to make sure theres no other parts going wrong,...

So you think prebuilts are still alright to go with? Idk if motherboard is something to be concerned about since I can't find what they are...

I was worried about going AMD as friends have told me they don't tend to last as long. I'm not sure of the credibility of that especially...

as far as monitor goes, I just use an old samsung S24B350. Haven't needed much more than that to be honest but I will be running alot of...
