If you're shopping for camping gear, there are a number of great areas where you can visit multple camping stores on foot.

**Sydney**'s //Kent Street// has multiple stores. Simply exit from the bottom end of Town Hall Station and walk on foot up and down Kent Street.

**Canberra**'s //Lonsdale St// is a short walk from the Canberra Shopping District in Civic. Shops on the street contain Mountain Designs,  Paddy Pallin, Macpac, Snowgum and a few small ski equipment stores

Kathmandu is located in the canberra centre (near JB hifi)

====== Memberships ======


Most chain camping stores have membership (which is usually free) and entitles you to a minimum of 10% off store wide.

**Anaconda**'s "Adventure Club" is free and has some special deals (see link below).

**Kathmandu**'s "summit club" costs $10 (free for university students and yha members) and has a range of deals ranging between 10% and 25% off.

**Paddy Pallin** membership - The initial membership fee is $16.50, while renewals are only $11.00. 10% off store wide.

**Snowgum** - $11 /year. 10% accrued to your account from each purchase. then gif vouchers are sent to your account.

**Mountain Designs** - free. 10% off all your products.
