After a few months it started to get an unexpected growing number of readers who loved to provide tips on where else to find bargains. A forum was created in 2006 that forms a small community of bargain hunters.

As the size of the community grows, scotty decided to evolve the OzBargain Blog into OzBargain the community site in November 2006(([[http://blog.ozbargain.com.au/2006/soft-launching-ozbargaincomau/|Soft Launching OzBargain.com.au]])).

In October 2007, OzBargain Blog officially moved off from its own domain into the subdomain of OzBargain(([[http://blog.ozbargain.com.au/2007/site-moved-again/|Site Moved, Again]])).

OzBargain Blog runs on top of the current version of WordPress with a customised theme.
