The spec page you linked says the phone supports LTE FDD B1/2/3/4/5/7/8/20/28, not just the 4 bands you listed?

    • based on my note 7 very unlikely it supports B28, even though the marketing says so, in my case 3 variants, the global didn't have B28 (thought it was sold as supporting it, and official xaiomi site said it did), only the pretty rare one does
also I absolutely dislike MIUi 10, the UI prefers to kill apps to save battery and miss important notifications, like alarms, and sms/messenger etc. terrible UI

      • Never had a problem with alarm or txt working on the 2 phones i have had with miui. Cant fault miui.

        • I think this ultra battery feature was introduced in MiUi 10

Isn't this the problem with Chinese phones (and Chinese products generally), that people would doubt whether the things stated in the spec are really there and would work.

      • global version does have b28 (my one arrived today)

    • I bought from geek buying and it arrived today. Can confirm b28 is available.
Probably isnt if you buy the global rom version rather than the global version.

Here is the one i bought: https://www.geekbuying.com/item/Global-Version-Xiaomi-Redmi-… (they had $20usd off recently)

  • Good price (especially for the 128gb).
    Dead link.

edit: Not sure if the code works on this link instead

    Umm..

Estimated delivery time: Dec 26 and Jan 12 ships out within 30 business days

Price would have dropped by $50 by that time anyway, rather buy off somewhere that ships sooner.

    • This is the 11.11 sale and the price will most probably go back to 230usd afterwards, same as every year
The shipping is horrid but I can't see it dropping $50 within a month, even the poco took around a year to go down $40 during the ebay sale

  • @DHgate can you do a deal on the global 64gb version?

  • Has anyone got any feedback (positive or negative) on dhgate? Never purchased from them before personally and would love to know how legit they are

  • Need a Xtra long life battery with a good camera for around $300, this or Moto G7 Power? Stockish android of G7 a plus, though camera better here.

    • Get this but change the launcher. Get the Pixel or Google Now launcher. Whichever suits your needs.

  • Codes no longer work and the phones not expected for delivery up to the 14th JAN
