Adding this back in (edited out by another user…) as this is an example of an item that wasn't price jacked, meaning it is a legitimate deal as there are bargains to be found:

I was looking at this Inflatable Camping Air Bed Mattress when I saw the item picture had been changed (Last updated on 16 Feb, 2017 00:47:54 AEDST) to remove the CAU10 coupon and replace it with a CSPORT20 coupon in the item picture.

While the item picture was updated, the price was not.

Search Link for All Stores Here

    • -1

Warning this link doesn't work correctly on iPhone and maybe other mobiles but working correctly on mac

Test is type search for 'Sony fe'
If you get results they are not participating stores

      • I love how someone puts this up! +1

      • +1

If I use mobile version of the ebay page on my phone this link doesn't work properly. If I change to 'classic site' at the bottom of the page it is fine.

      • +2

Change your tab to display desktop version. Won't be mobile friendly to browse anymore, but at least you'll see the correct listings.

    • lol'ed at your link, http://i.imgur.com/fOfuwiV.png

    • Wait so does the code work yet and whereabouts do you input it?

      • Nope not yet just suggesting what they'd come down to.

        • oh ok and that's provided they don't remove the 15% discount prior to the sale.

      • Wait so does the code work yet

Since the deal is not active until 10am 16 Feb, my guess is "no".

and whereabouts do you input it?

Same way you input it for almost every discount code on almost every online shopping site.

You put the order into your Shopping Cart, then go through Checkout. On the payment screen is a field to enter the code.

price has been jacked up now to $514

        • -4

WOW - I copped 6 negs for answering a question.

Makes me wonder why I bother :-)

    • +14

They've jacked up the price now to $514 (or $411.20 with discount), so you're basically saving like $17.

      • Looks like he's just jacked up the price on the Sony h.ear headphones also from $349 to $411

      • +1

        You got JACKED!

      • +2

That's why I don't even bother with these silly 'deals'.

    • the jackass has jacked up the price

    Beats Solo 3 - $279.20

  • -6
    • +12

In the market for Beats, huh? My sympathies go out to your earsSorry about that.

Will you be separately listing every single item where the discount will apply? There's currently 87,997 listings in the selected stores, so it's going to take you a while.

Much easier if people simply search for themselves

      • -8

Do you read, Doweyy already put the link.

        • +4

Do you comprehend, that's where I got the link from.

        • +6

          @bargainparker:

Hmmm, because obviously the more times the search link gets repeated, the more likely that people with notice it.

And the point of your inane banter is?

        • @llama:

It's the first Comment on the page. If they are not going to read the first, probably won't go to middle either to just see yours.

        • @thelastnoob:

Oh god no, I'll take anything but that :)

        • @Putnum:

I quite like my llama coat.

      • It comes up with used tv's?

        • -2

The link ism't a mind reader that somehow searches autonatocally for what you want to find. You need to open the link THEN search using the search field on top of the page.

If you are using a mobile device, you may get directed to a website starting with m.ebat.com - and you will find that the search doesnt work.

if so, scroll to the very bottom of the page and choose the link that says "classic site"… that will get you back to the normal ebay site, where you can immediately type into the search box to find what you are looking for.

  • +6

Well I'll be happy to get $500 off a set of these.

    • +3

Where are you going to put that in, your dinghy?

      • Sshhh… you're giving me ideas.

    • +24

Can't believe shipping is only $10 for something that weighs over 2 tonnes, yet the modem I bought last night was $14 to ship.

      • +1

It's because it's shipped from China and you'll get it in a few months :)

If it's doesn't arrive you can always chat to PayPal for a refund.

    • +1

Are these any good for moving islands ?.

    • +4

Hmm, but will it fit a Honda?

    • Don't forget CR

How I wish I get 20% payrise regular enough to keep up with these 20% off eBay deals.

    • +13

Sorry they don't jack up our pay like they do the prices :P

  • +5

If only we actually saved 20% off the regularly listed price…

  • +2

    In b4 the price hikes…

    • +3

They're like ninjas with these price hikes.

  • +2

Somehow I think it'd be quicker to list the stores that don't raise the price vs the ones that do!

  • I missed out on the Dyson V8 during the Ebay-Bing Lee sale, any in this? Couldn't find one myself.

    • No Dyson's available.

  • Which of these stores do not price hike?

  • -3

    Any GoPro desls ??

    • +4

Be careful the llama will attack if you ask this

      • +3

No he won't. Dalai lama is a peaceful man.

      • @kwydjibo And rightly so.

    • +1

      I don't attack LOL

Anyway chutibuti, I remember seeing something in this earlier post in the thread,

  • +1

Just curious if any of you find any Bluetooth speakers on sale in these stores?

    • +2

      no deals..

      example
UE Boom 2 jacked to $216.. $172 after discount. Lowest i've seen on OzB is $143

      • +4

That's unfortunate, wish they had BIng Lee's 20% off again…

        • -1

          Reason for neg?

        • +2

@TheClipIt: Price jacking I'm assuming. UE Megaboom also jacked up by ~$50, so sneaky…

        • +1

@nizsmo: agree, been on a look out for ue boom and was hoping this sale it would be a good price, clearly not

        • The original item I was looking at wasn't price jacked… I thought it would help others if I amended the post to share a more general coupon rather than a item/store specific one. I'm sure there are many other items that weren't price jacked in this deal, just unfortunate that the UE Boom 2 you wanted was jacked

  • +36

Do people upvote these ebay coupon deals just because they feel they should? It's getting harder and harder to actually see any real bargains on these fixed store sales.

    • +5

Agree. Maybe admins should review the posting guidelines for ebay %off posts. There is no bargain if base price raises similar amount to reduction.

      • +4

Agree. Last few sales I didn't even buy anything and I am a compulsive shopper.

      • +1

Maybe admins should review the posting guidelines for ebay %off posts. There is no bargain if base price raises similar amount to reduction.

Only 87,974 listings in this deal, who's going to check them all. Sure some prices are increased in these promos but I'd hope that most people here checking the best price out there before making a purchase.

      • The original item I was looking at wasn't price jacked… I thought it would help others if I amended the post to share a more general coupon rather than a item/store specific one. I'm sure there are many other items that weren't price jacked in this deal, they just might not be popular items like headphones/fitbits/etc most people are looking at

    • +6

Well if you try to downvote you get a nice warning box threatening to block you from downvoting if the mods don't agree. Upvote is a nice simple green +. Not exactly encouraging is it..

In saying that, some genuine discounting but it's not 20%, with all the questionable practises by the retailer it's more like 5-10%

      • +3

I don't think we should be encouraging it at all. A sitewide sale, where you inevitably will get a bargain is one thing, a fixed store sale where they remove items, and increase others is a scam.

      • Well if you try to downvote you get a nice warning box threatening to block you from downvoting if the mods don't agree.

Sorry, this is incorrect. See my recent post in regards to having a question about OzBargain and guessing an answer.

Voting Guidelines. If you give a reason for your negative vote then certainly go for it. Most of the revocations are by the community (negative voting a comment enough will remove the vote) and not moderators.

        Good deal? + vote
Not interested in deal? Move on, do nothing.
Major issue with deal, company etc.? Neg vote.
Issue with title, description, comment etc.? Hit the report link.

        • Well, how can we pass. Human nature. if we know there is a party going in eBay deal and we are sitting on another boring deal, we want to join in and try to rant about it that how bad it is.
Another reason can be that community wants to warn other users before someone is happy of getting a deal…

  • If they say "Aussie Stock", the invoice should come with GST on it I guess ?

    • +1

Dont hold your breath for that one

    • You could check to see if the seller has registered for GST with ABN lookup. If a business's turnover is less than 75k pa they don't have to charge gst.

Messaging them would be simpler though…

      • Yes thanks,

Actually checked on ABN lookup and they are registered for GST. Also sent them a message and they replied yes to me ;).

        Cheers.

    • +1

Its been jacked. What else did you expect?

      • Obviously…..

    • +2

Same store that jacked up the Bose QC35 Headphones, seems allot of their products are worth more today for some strange reason /s

    • Anyone tried Make Offer for the original list price of any items? Wonder if they'd accept …

(dunno if that's a good price as I'm not interested in anything on this sale yet, just curious)

    • crazy! i am waiting on a deal around $430… ha

  • Hopefully goodguys are up next, been eyeing a pair of earphones

    • +1

      Should have gone to specsavers

Almosty certainly a stupid question - but is there any way to pay with Harvey Norman gift cards on the HN ebay store?

  • +3

Kathmandu is 30% off online and in store, so you maybe able to get a better deal going direct for Kathmandu. Membership maybe required.

  • Not a good deal for Kathmandu. Discount for members is currently 30% for Kathmandu branded gear, and 20% for non-branded Kathmandu gear.

  • That shipping is Hardly Normal.

  • What's going on? No Vacuums??

  • +1

That 3rd item on the search all hahahahaha

    • You may think it's funny, as do I.
But I bought one for the GF when we went to China. She said it made "aiming" with the squat toilets a lot easier haha.

      • What do you do with it after? Not disposable right?

        • +1

She shook it off and rinsed it under water and kept it in a waterproof case. Also cleaned it with soap when we were at a hotel. She was happy with it…

  • fitbit charge 2 HR
    - on fitbit website - $249.95
    - cheapest amongst the sale group $256 - before the discount
