    Anyone else having deja vu?

    • +1

Did you hear 'em talkin' 'bout it on the radio
Did you try to read the writing on the wall
Did that voice inside you say I've heard it all before
It's like Deja Vu all over again

      • I just CBIG15.

        It's a really big 15.

    • +1

Didn't you say that last time?

    • +3

Deja vu, I've just been in this place before
Higher on the street, and I know it's my time to go
Calling you, and the search is a mystery
Standing on my feet, it's so hard when I try to be me, woah

  • +1

At least they didn't disadvantage people who buy now.

    • They do in my case since my TV will not get the full 15% discount due to it being capped at $300. I get less than 10% discount because the TV is $3.5k plus shipping. I almost pulled the trigger until I realized I hit the cap.

  • How are people finding/posting these unconfirmed deals?

    • +1

My guess would be someone ran a fusking script. (edit: never mind it seems like the image URLs are in sequence - 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.)

  • -1

the site says it starts now til 6pm today with the code CBIG15

    • yes I saw that on eBay website too. oh the difference would be the maximum discount.

    • I got that email saying it was CBIG15 until midnight. Tried it and it doesn't work.

I'm just gonna continue eating my popcorn.

        (12:00AM to 12:01AM)

        • +1

1 minute window. Not even worth the time needed to jack the prices and unjack them back.

        • @lostn: They'll jack the prices so quickly that no-one will notice paying extra

        • +5

          @lostn:
So much jacking you'd think the code was CPORN15

  • +13

I'm so annoyed I jumped on the 10% coupon :(

  • Good find. I can sit and relax now, plenty of time left.

  • +3

    Aargh, my wallet!

  • +5

Damnit, while waiting to have this confirmed the item I was watching was increased in price by 13%

    • You still save 2%, so it's all good.

      • 3.95%

      • Not when the price is now more than bricks and mortar after 15% off :(

  • +7

Should that be "12AM" in the title?

  • The other difference is this is a 14 HOUR DEAL, not 2 hours!!!

    • No. If you click the link you will see ends midnight.

    • No, the OP (profanity) up the title. This is a 2 hour deal. Ends at 12am

      • But the image also says "midday to midnight today" so shouldn't it have started already?

        • +1

The different deals are released from midday to midnight. Each deal is only for 2 hours.

  • +9

Scared to buy now and later discover %20 code:!

oh gosh … u seem lost … u sure u in the right website?

      • +5

        deviced pacifically?

        • deviced pacifically on prepose

    • +4

Spent $12k today including friends ebay accounts. :(

      • +3

WTF! what did u buy? lmao

      • +1

wow on what? Stuff to resell?

  • So basically 15% is the biggest percentage we'll get?

    • +23

no. It will get to 150%. Just be patient.

    • +2

Yes I think so, because the discounts is actually fuelled by ebay themself rather than taken from the seller. The seller will be paid at the full price, voucher difference is paid by ebay. The seller then pay ebay fees + paypal fees which is just under 13%, and the fees are a lot less for big sellers/sellers with stores. So even with 15% off ebay is losing money, I'm thinking they do it in order to get traffic/ sales figures.

      • +1

They also get a lot of advertising revenue from all the clicks, probably breaking even at 15%

    • With a code like CRAZIEST and an end time of midnight, that would be a safe assumption.

    • +6

100% off if you practice being a tightass.

    • I've used 2 codes this afternoon which worked out to be about 20%. First was 20 off when you spend over 100, now there's 10 off over 50 (cracking10) so yeh, not too bad..

  • +4

I remember the good ol' days of 20% off and 4% cashback… now we have to wait all day just for 15% off and that's the most generous eBay offer in a long time

    • -3

There has never been a sitewidr 20% , best was 15% sitewide + 4~5% cashrewards in late 2015.

      • +2

There was a 20% off site-wide sale for a few hours earlier this year, wasn't widely promoted, a bit of a secret but it was a fun pigfest.

        • Don't think it was site and included OS sellers . This coupons today works on items in US $ eBay on eBay.com items. Can you point to the sitewide 20% ? Something not targeted of course

        • @regenade: it sure was sitewide. I bought my OnePlus One years ago when they had the deal.

        • @justcallmeboss:

Site wide excluding category's though, so it wasn't a site wide discount at all

      • Are you sure about that?
I'm almost they ran 20% off sales years ago.

        • Yes,I think the minimum spend was $200.

  • +7

The key is to stop buying which will force eBay to give us better discounts!

    • ebay is giving us good enough discounts. The issue is that sellers raise prices just before a sale. There's nothing ebay can do about that. They don't decide what each seller can sell their products at.

      • I think part of the problem is there is a parallel selected store sale. AIUI those are paid for by the sellers whereas sitewide is paid for by Ebay. So as long as you avoid the sellers on the selected store sale they probably won't pricejack.

    • … or put them out of business.

  • +2

Excellent timing. Was waiting to bid on an item, ended at 5:56 and got in with 15% off before 6 o'clock struck. Now I can use the next one for maximum savings!

  • At least it's not 20% off, otherwise I'm gonna get crazy.

  • +7

Need 20% off before i open my wallet

  • Ebay D@heads. I cancelled my order from noon offer and bought again at 4pm. Just inconveniencing sellers.

    • You need your friend's hairdresser sister to walk her dog again!
