Looks to be the same price as the previous deal for this series of mats, but this time the mid-grey and darker rose are also on sale for $1 more, which are likely to be more appealing colours to most.

I got the grey one sale using a Perks voucher through JB. It's quite nice and decently sized (using now with the MX Keys and MX Master). Doesn't slide around.

I dunno man. The lavender one looks great on my desk.

  • This one (any colour) or one of the cheaper generic ones on Amazon?

This one, unless you dislike the Logi logo on the corner.

Damn definitely got myself into this rabbit hole of desk mats. Anyone can recommend good fine genuine leather desk mat with minimum dimension 900mm x 400mm? Willing to pay up to $250 delivered.

    • +3

900mm is pretty long to be genuine, not bonded.
You might want to just visit a leather tanner and skip the middle man.

    • Go bespoke on Etsy.

Lucille Bluth voice: Michael, It's just a desk mat. How much could it cost? $250?

  • Can this be used as a coffee tamper mat? lol

    • +4

No, but it can be used as a baby's yoga mat.

      • baby yoda maybe?

  • is this washable?

    • +1

Got one recently, they seem washable to me. It’s basically neoprene/wetsuit material.

    • +1

Yup, I have one and when my cat puked on it, I just sprayed it down with the garden hose. Add hand soap if you want to wash it thoroughly

  • Thanks OP

  • What is the point of having a mat like this?

    • +1

Spare your textured dining table getting shiny spots from mouse use.

      • Lucky I use a computer desk then

    • Equivalent of a giant mouse pad, they're pretty good and comfortable to use.

    • +2

Keep my hands from getting cold by being in contact with the desk. It's a glass desk which I'm sure makes the problem worse than wood would be.

    • For gaming. Allows you to setup your mouse so you need to move it further to rotate, but this also means you have much finer control aiming.

    • dampens the sound a little from your clicky switch mechanical keyboard

  • Got one for my gf. They’re quite good, she likes it, though not as large as they appear in the promo images (the measurements are accurate of course).

    Worth it for $19.

  • Also 20$ at OW if you don't want to order on amazon

  • Is this available anywhere at a brick and mortar store at this price?

    • Old mate above you just mentioned officeworks for the same price.
