    • Back at $999 now

  • The v8 origin seems to be fairly cheap and in comparison to the v7 advanced origin on their eBay site

  • Looking for decent cordless for home, got a small place and no pets/kids so don't need anything intense. Is the V7 Advance Cordless good from anyone's experience??

    • Can’t speak based on experience but the v7 advanced seems to have the same motor as the v8.
I however just purchased the v8 as it’s approx only $20 more but comes with a dock and mini motor head over the v7

Thanks! Got one via Dyson website to get the extension attachment.

  • Ahhh damn.
Bought couple days ago gen5 $950 on ebay, now $899.

  • is it telescopic ?

  • Why do they keep so many versions at the same time? V7-V15, then gen5 (where's gen4-1?)

  • I have massive decision paralysis haha there is too many models to pick from. Can someone just let me which one is best for my situation being a 2bed place 95% hard floors and a rug. Also want it to vacuum the car, thanks all appreciate any direction you can point me in.

    • I would say the V12 Complete have all the tools you need.
If you are on a budget, the V8 Absolute can do the job cheaper, but the V12 is a better bargain.

      • Fantastic @Buy2Much, I honestly can’t thank you enough for the opinion, that’s all I needed to hear haha. V12 Complete is purchased. Cheers

  • Got the gen5, but already have 3 vacuum cleaners. buy first, regret later. thanks OP
