you ate 4 pizzas for dinner?

    • Yes almost, but not by myself though. 2.5 people.

      • +8

did you have an imp over in some new trousers?

        • +11

They got impatient and gnawed on their friend while the pizzas cooked.

      • +2

        0.5 = dwarf?

      • +39

He became 1.5 of a person after the pizzas

  • Your arteries thank you!

    • Total fat is only 5.6 G so I think they are OK. Taste good also. Not like frozen stuff. Supposedly wood fired.

      • Awesome. Sounds good. Thanks for the info OP.

      • +5

Total fat per 100 g serve is 5.6 grams. For a whole pizza (400g) it's more than 20 grams and not to mention roughly 2400 mg of sodium per pizza.

        • +3

Whaaaat? Should have read this properly before I ate so many slices!!!

        • +7

Fat content = cheese, without cheese.. its just a meaty donut

        • They are all vegitarian.. lol

        • +3

Meaty Donut is now the name of my new prog-funk-metal band.

        • how did u get the title before your name?

        • not really rennet is not vegetarian

In response to 777, microbial rennet is vegetarian. Doesn't come from the lining of cows, but microbial rennet is fermented from bacteria.

        • nice good to know

      • Per slice, not per pizza…

  • Any good?

  • Coles have similar deal with the black n gold pizza's for 2.50, as they have been replaced by there "when in rome" ultra budget pizza's at 3bucks.

    • +3

bought one "when in rome" pizza from Coles yesterday and it's the worst pizza ever! only managed to eat 1/4 as it was so bad… will stick with Dr. Oetker!!!

      • +1

Best froxen pizzas IMHO are the Emilia brand, they are made in Italy and really have a wood fired taste. The base is better than most fresh pizzas I have eaten. Often $3.50 on special…..

        • will give Emilia a go, thanks!

        • Touche! I can also vouch for Emilia! But if there are none left when they are on special its because my freezer ate them all.

    Pizza is coming

  • +1

If it was Hawian, supreme and meatlovers pizza this would be a good deal. The lack of toppings on the pizzas makes it hard for me to purchase.

    • +2

The actual act of buying the pizza is the same regardless of topping, in fact you could argue with less topping the pizza is easier to carry, so therefore these pizzas should in theory be easier for you to purchase. BTW what is a hawian?

  • +2

had some today to they're decent (after some salt/pepper garlic powder and Italian herbs) as far as cheap price freezer pizza goes.

  • +6

Needs pics of the final product for a vote..

    • +1

yep. need a pic of the actual pizza in the box and the one outside for a vote….

      • +1

So we got some Checkout viewers here :P

    • Unless "by final product" you mean what will end up in the loo :$

      • You are disgusting. I love it. :)

        • Darling, is that you? ;)

        • Oh darling, you should know that by now from miles away. :P

        • :)

  • +1

no meat lovers ? wtf ..

  • Thanks OP , ive had the mushroom one before … not bad for a supermarket pizza.

  • +1

a good deal even if you walked out with them jokingly.

  • +1

You must have a massive fridge.

Supermarket bought pizzas have always been nasty tasting for me. Might try one though.

  • -3

These do not taste good. I wouldn't get them if they were free.

  • Pizza for dinner it is! :)

  • +1

These pizzas are pretty good. They're not at all greasy and have a decent amount of toppings. I add a little chilli sauce to mine to augment the flavour.

I think the 'When in Rome, EAT' range of pizzas at Coles are better value however. They're made in Australia, not Italy (think food miles), the base is better and thicker, and they're always $3 each (these pizzas are usually over $5).

Anyone who enjoys frozen pizzas as a quick snack is sure to know frozen pizzas can be bought for half price at least several times a year. The Dr Oetker range is pretty good but usually doesn't fall below $3.50 per pizza.

    • Dr Oetker is sometimes on super special at NQR @ $1.99 and they taste so much better than these ones.

      • EDIT: I take that back. Its actually pretty good.

  • This deal was in the Woolworths compare-a-tron deal posted earlier today and happens quite frequently so keep an eye there for future deals on this if you like em.

  • I prefer making my own pizzas. Cheaper than store bought and way more toppings!

    • +15

Buy these pizzas as a base, add more toppings and cheese,! Woah!

  • Price in title please.

  • +2

    Dr. Oetker FTW

  • big fridge?

  • Cool thanks.

  • +2

These pizzas are surprisingly good. The dough isn't "white wonder bread" like some of the other cheaper brands; it tastes like proper pizza dough. For best results I've used a wire rack and cooked them a few minutes longer than recommended, so the base goes crispy underneath.

  • They looked pretty good, but we found they had to much salt in the crust. If it wasn't for that they would be good. Nothing compares to the frozen pizza Fuhrer though, Herr Doktor.

  • It's a good deal, but isn't it a dupe, since it's listed here: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/100137 ? How come it wasn't removed as a dupe?

  • do they have chef's best?

    • Nope but you can make your own. I've added some leftover garlic prawns, baby spinach and chilli flakes and left it in the oven for about 20 minutes and voila!!! Hubby was impressed. He thought I've made it from scratch:)

  • Saturday nights just got better!

  • wth went to my local woolies at darra QLD and there 5 bucks!@#@

  • +2

Thanks op for recommendation. Eating tomato one right now. Added half price roast chicken from deli and grilled some eggplant. Beats dominos!

  • The price-tags at the Woollies I went to said $4.99 but they were still half that at the checkout. Cool deal when does it end?

  • +3

Went to my local (Gladstone Park VIC) and there were no sales tickets….grabbed one and got the price checked, came up $2.50, bought 15, used ING paywave, all up spent $35.60 on 15 pizzas! My wife was all like…'WTF, you bought 15 pizzas?! I just looked at her and said 'OZBargain made me do it.'

    • You'll regret giving her that idea for an excuse. Next she buys lots of "stuffs" she'll use that line on you. :) :)

    • +5

The aftermath - I took them all out of the boxes to fit in the freezer. http://imgur.com/PFBUg7z

  • Same, no msg indicating sale in the deep freeze but half price at checkout. At INDRO Brisbane

  • The best frozen pizza ever

  • Nice deal, but i personally prefer McCain pizzas, meatlovers in particular. Unfortunately, they are rarely on special.
Not that great for the body, but definitely good for the soul.
I only have one of these 1 every month or two when i want something quick or don't feel like making anything else.

  • Thanks OP. Added Portuguese Beef, Onions and Extra Cheese to the Roasted Mediterranean.
