OP, you might want to add excludes BEER and RTDs (Ready to Drinks)

    • Thanks! Why are our codes different.. hrmmm

be careful with the online prices… i was about to order some stuff off woolies yesterday and noticed that most day to day items were 5-25cents costlier than what they are in store… On a $80 order i would have ended up paying about $6-$10 extra.. so i cancelled that one…. Dan murphy is same group so you might face the same scenario…

    • On a $80 order i would have ended up paying about $6-$10 extra

not necessarily an 'unbargain' expense though…
that would depend on how costly it is to drive there and waste your time getting it compared to the delivery?

      • Yeah that's how I think of it, especially on alcohol….

      • depend on how costly it is to drive there and waste your time

I often find the instore price cheaper, especially on beer…

  • well for me i anyways drive out on weekends and have a couple of woolies on my way back.. driving cost is not an issue and i was out in about 20 mins…

previously if just ordering beer or RTDs then you could also buy a Jacob's Creek Riesling 187mL for $1.90.

this should get you the free shipping

    http://danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_143178/jacob-s-creek-rie…

so, whilst not free shipping, for $1.90 you get your beer or RTDs delivered.

haven't checked to see if this still works or not.

Prices seem higher online than in store.
Compared Oyster Bay sav blanc which I purchased instore for 11.90 each(in case of 6)
Online price is 15.19 each in case of 6

  • Doesn't include ginger beer either, even though technically its not beer. Oh well.

even though technically its not beer

      though neither is XXXX..
they probably just make a blanket rule to anything that has a resemblence to 'beer'

      • but they couldn't actually sell urine.

  • I saved $24 on delivery and now I'm back on the drink big time.

  • Thanks OP. Grabbed a case of Red (West Cape Howe Cab Merlot) Nice drop and my local Woolies Liquor has been out of stock of this for a while now. :D

  • Why is beer excluded ?

    • probably smaller margins and higher shipping costs.

  • What's the cheapest/best value wine per bottle? Don't care about colour or taste.

Just get a 5L sack of goon for $14 or whatever it is these days.

If you need it in a bottle, I think bowler's run is one of the cheapest we sell at the small bottle-o I work at. They make it in a Shiraz, Chardonnay, Sem Sauv. and Cab. Merlot. Haven't heard much feedback but it's $2.99 a bottle at Dan Murphy's.

uncle dans used to have $2 clearskins.

I bought 3 cases of it when I lived in Albury. Uncle Dans was next to my work so I put them in the server room. 2 weeks later my boss asked me why I had 3 boxes of wine in there and I said "because it is temperature controlled." she wasn't impressed.

  • Thanks OP. Tried to order via qwibble and using a Wish Card for 5% discount on the site. Wouldn't work. Anybody else have the same problem?

  • I can't even get the checkout to work

    • It's working now that I created an account, added an address into the address book, then tried to checkout.
