Free Talk - Planning The Future: Wills and Power of Attorney (Stanton Library, North Sydney, 6PM Wed 15 May)

Part of National Law Week. Technically a freebie but since only people who can travel there will be able to attend, it's of limited interest so I've put this in the forums.

Paul Etherington of Etheringtons in North Sydney will present this special talk for National Law Week.

The session will inform you about the laws concerning one of the most important legal documents you will ever make and answer some of your vital questions. What makes a will valid? How do you ensure your estate will be distributed in the manner that you want? Who gets what if there is no will? How can you protect your interests with a power of attorney?

Find out what you need to know to plan for your family’s future.

  • generally only simple wills

  • It's more than just about wills, there will also be information about PoA, and living wills. PoAs and living wills handle the cases where you are incapacitated and can't make decisions about your health care.
