Bosch 10.8v Cordless Reciprocating Saw Kit $211 ($269 Bunnings or $189.90 after Price Match)

40

A wonderful, professional series, yet tiny tool from Bosch. I love mine. I also have the drill and impact drivers using the same batteries.

This price is amazing as it includes two batteries, a 30 minute fast charger, and a case with a molded tray.

In Victoria I found 5 units available at Bunnings Mentone and I snapped one up.

LOVE IT!

  • Not sure if I'll ever find a use for the saw. How much are the 2 batteries worth?

Last time I bought one battery st BUNNINGS for $69!
They are not cheap in Australia, however on eBay you can pick one up for about $45 including delivery. I'm not sure if the warranty will be honoured in Australia.

The kit advertised here comes with a 3 year Australian warranty! Excellent for a product in this category!

They have a set at Masters for $300 (I got mine for $285 with staff discount)

    • Sounds good but I can't find any stores in Melb that have it in stock.

      • I also had this kit. There was stock left at only two stores in Melbourne. I think one was bayside and the other near Cranbourne. Get Masters to look it up on their computer.

      • One at Masters Roxborough Park.

    10V seems a little underpowered?

    • Don't underestimate the power of these babies. These are professional 10.8/12 volt. No issue with power.

I think most of us would be struggling getting Bummings to price match Ebay.

The eBay seller is Sydney Tools and the same kit is $245 on their website. Agree that price match could be tough.

      • They won't price match eBay. Title is misleading.

        • As I said, they price matched for me at Mentone, and they were very nice about it. They searched the Internet and because it's a large store in Sydney with free delivery, there was no problem. Not so sure about other BUNNINGS stores, but Mentone super store is great!

        • Great price, any chance you can upload the receipt for us?

          Thank you

        • Sure. Can you direct me on how to do it please?

        • I am not 100% sure but I think you can edit your post and upload an image.

Maybe other ozbargainer can provide better instructions?

      • Similar to OfficeWorks, once price matched, it will acknowledge to the main system. It is then change the current price to have the same price as the competition. Subsequent price matching might be difficult.

    • According to their price guarantee:

Bunnings' price guarantee applies to any lower price found on an on-line store or in a physical store in Australia. It applies where the other store's final price, inclusive of delivery, taxes, fees and charges, is lower than our price

I guess it would depend on whether the stores accept eBay as an online store.

The manager matched the price because the eBay store also had a shopfront (in Syd) and also a separate online shop… I believe - but I didn't question it.

  • Makita one is like $169 with batteries on eBay.
