TID cheaper for equivalent level of cover in Asia Pacific.
I used TID for a recent skiing trip to Japan. Broke my rib over there. Couple of hundred bucks in hospital expenses and another couple of hundred in un-used lift tickets refunded pretty quickly an effortlessly. They're alright.
SydBargainer raises a good point. The proof of the insurer is in the claiming. A cheap premium means nothing if they don't pay out when needed.
according to google code "nomads" will get you 10% off and "gopack" will get you 7%. Both better deals.
Also be careful of there high price items exclusion. I had $1200 worth of camera gear stolen, which was actually a bunch of smaller items ie 2 lenses, 1 camera, SD cards, spare battery's etc etc. After reading the fine print they call nearly everything in your pack "one item" and subject to a $250 limit minus $100 excess = $150.
