This is the lowest price I ever seen on this model. @ $498 is very very cheap given the RRP is $949, currently on sale on HN website for $699. Not sure if this is store specific or not. Hope it helps if someone is looking for a good vacuum cleaner at a great price.

I have a voucher to use at HN and thinking a vacuum might be the way to go. Saw the DC35 was $300 not long ago.
Any got suggestions of even others brands. I don't like the sound of this not having a retractable cord. Also will mostly be used on hard wood floors at the current house.
