Nokia Asha 300 (Telstra) Mobile Phone $49 + $4.95 delivery at Dick Smith

70

This isn't a bad phone for travelling if you're on the Telstra network - Telstra NextG compatible.
Also has a touch screen and 5MP camera.
Other places are selling for the $79 mark (you should be able to get an Officeworks price match).
Website says no to click and collect, however the site says there is stock in store.

Not really a travelling phone. lol. since it is locked to telstra. If it was unlocked then it would be fine.

    • I would say the key feature while travelling for me is wireless hotspot, which according to the below comment this doesn't have

  • If only it had WiFi :(

  • Good phone for the price a d quality…it's a touch screen phone, if I'm not wrong.

    • It is. Decent phone, I have one as a work phone.

Only annoying thing is, don't expect the touch screen to work like an iPhone or even a cheap android. It is a bit dodgy and when you try and scroll you'll end up hitting button instead. Just takes a bit of practice, it's sometimes hard to get use to it again after being on my iPhone for a while.

But for this price, I might get another one (in case my puppy destroys it again as he seems to like the plastic case, but has never touched my iPhone).

  • Would it make a good on-call phone?. I'm after a Nokia feature phone with long battery life that has loud SMS alerts and speaker phone. Thanks
