3G TD-SCDMA

May I know what is 3G TD-SCDMA? Trying to get a China Phone but its GSM: 900/ 1800 MHz, 2010-2025 MHz / 1880-1900 MHz , 3G: TD-SCDMA

Will it supports in Australia? with 3G?

TD-SCDMA is a 3g standard used in China, and only China.

As you can see from those 3g frequencies you listed, they don't even conform to the 850/950/2100mhz that Australian networks use so the short answer to your 2nd question is no.

    Long answer: Nooooooooooooooooo.

    • so it only supports 2G only with GSM?? Wht is the main difference btw 2G & 3G? I can still use data for internet right??

      • I wouldn't bother trying to surf using 2G — the speeds will be at dial up 64kbps. http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1728191

2G is getting switched off since Telstra is announcing their 2g networks are using 1800MHz 2G frequency for 4G. In short, 2G connectivitity will be quite sparse, in the future.

You really should look into other phones — there are plenty of 3G WCDMA phones you could choose from.

        I recommend shopping at either
