How did you know I needed one of these?

    • +6

I needed one too, unfortunately I purchased mine last night.. ultimate fear of the OZ Barginer realised.

      • +3

Oh well, as long as you get to create romantic moment.

  • How are these compared to the dick smith ones? The dick smith one was pretty loose so the sound kept getting cut off if the jack moved.

  • Love the first line haha ;)

  • Hi Rep,

Code doesn't work for multiple purchase? I want to buy 2.

    • +1

He probably doesn't want you to buy 2 :P

    • Hi, yes,
The code can be used only once per person so that as many as possible people can get one. ; )

  • +1

    Create romantic moment? Like this?

    • i was thinking of something different.

        eargasms. get it?

Always a challenge to find the voucher box to type in… CHALLENGE ACCEPTED

  • can you plug in 2 together so you have 3 outputs? :)

    • The volume for each headphone will become lower and lower the more you daisy chain together.

Damn tmart's conversion comes up as AU $0.81.
    Xe.com tells me US $0.75 = AU $0.793825.

Ripped off by AU $0.016175. Paying 2.03% extra!!

    • +2

Pay with 28 Degrees and save

      • I did.. but T-Mart converted it for me for some reason and I couldn't figure out how to leave it as USD.

        • Change currency in top left corner before you do anything else!

        • Damn too late oh well it's ok. I can afford to part with $0.01….. I think

  • +1

Almost bought one for some snuggle time on my next flight. But I foolishly checked my cable box… and found one. Damn it - I wanted to buy one!

  • last time i used one of these it only gave me sound from one side of each earphone, useless but i guess you get what you pay for

    • broken wire or was it possibly a mono version?

      • sounds exactly like a mono version to me.

@Super8Tab, some of these are used to effectively do the reverse of the weird double plug you need for headphones on aeroplanes, they split a stereo signal into its two mono parts, one for each output.

This one (I hope) just duplicates each mono signal for each output so that two can share a romantic moment with both ears :)

        • I was on a flight with United (Boeng 747-400) last week and they didn't have the weird double plug, they just had a standard headphone socket. Why can't all planes have that?

  • Where's the voucher input box?!

    • +1

      After PayPal but before confirmation.

  • If I plug my PC and another device to one speaker, will it lower the volume input like most splitter does?

    • Wondering the same thing. Theoretically, how many splits could be performed with these?

      • Bought it anyway, at the moment I have to plug/unplug the left/right speaker cable on my HTPC because the splitter lower the right/left channel too much.

      • It depends on the output level of your device.

If the level of sound output is a particular level, I'll represent it here using the number 4, when you use ANY splitter that level of output has to go to two places (if two things are plugged in. Each (theoretically) gets half that signal: 2.

If you did it again it'd halve again - 1

        Again - .5

And so on until the level was too low for the particular device you were using to pick up. That is of course disregarding any loss of signal through poor wiring, etc.

So how many times you can split depends on the output level of your first device, and the ability of later ones to pick up signals.

  • Using mobile checkout and after confirming on Paypal, it directs back to checkout Screen at TMart but there's no area to put in discount code… Only continue… Does that option appear in the NEXT screen or not?

  • +1

Seems like a good deal if these are both Stereo outputs..
However, its getting a little too much for me now when i have to become a member of all these sites popping up just to score a little trinkets that i can get from the markets for a little more.
Anyways, more for you guys as ill be giving this a miss.
    Cheers

  • Great, just bought one. 81c (inflation)

    • -1

It's not really due to inflation, rather just changing exchange rates

      • In economics, inflation is a rise in the general level of prices of goods and services in an economy over a period of time. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inflation

I think that one sentence still applies here :-P
(where the economy is OzBargain, and the period of time is in minutes/seconds)

Handy for those pesky $10 museum audio guides with only one headphone jack. The only downside is that you'll have to move at a very similar pace throughout the tour…

  • Where to enter the code if paying by PayPal?

    • You have to login/register

      • No you don't, just click PayPal, fill out your details, then in the confirmation page there will be a box to enter the code.

  • Wtf? Mine came up as 81c! Gimme back my 6c!

  • These are good value, i bought similar but in iWhite for $1.99 at reject shop.

  • Coupon Code applied and saw the price reduced to $0.81 in Paypal checkout.
but the Paypal payment statement is the original price $2.01. NO SAVE.

    • +1

Hi,sorry, maybe there is something wrong with the coupon code.
You can give me your order number. We can cancel your order. :)

    • My PayPal statement shows 81c..

  • +1

    Rep. Got the below.
If you have a coupon code that applies to your order, please enter it here:
This coupon could only be used 200 times

  • That's it, they're out of stock!
    OzBargained yet again ;_;

  • I actually wanted to use one but …. oh well ;_;

    too late.

  • Has anyone used one of these before?? and do they work properly?

The reason I ask is because I purchased a splitter (all in one encased one) and I can barely hear it when I plug 2 earphones on my tablet.

Just wondering if some types are better than others?

  • +2

Expired? How now to create the "Romantic Moment"?

  • Just received mine and it doesn't work.

  • Received yesterday found that two speaker only one side have sound, anyone? When connect only one device.

    • Hi, you can contact our customer service and they can help you. [email protected]

  • This is pretty poor quality.
One side the side comes out in full at certain angles.
The other side, the side barely comes out at all and it's only audible on one half of the earphones…
    Wasn't even worth $0.75.

    • Hi, sorry to hear that.
