    Tempting for the slushie maker

    • +4

if it helps i bought one ages ago, used it twice and never again… It's just too much hassle with the rock salt and making ice cubes.

Check the reviews, you'll prolly change your mind, even if it's only 4 bucks.

Was $15 on 08/07/13 - obviously they didn't move too many.

    • $3.98 for the slushie maker….thinking about it…….WHAT!!! that is what YOU have to pay THEM for it. forget it.

      • +1

Can't bring myself to pay 300% more for postage than the item anyway

        • Dont buy 1.. buy some for family n friends. That way your shipping percentage will come down and the purchase will be justified.

        • +1

Lol, given the reviews it's more like buy it for your enemies and most hated family members.

  • $17.10 delivered for the Altec inMotion Kick iPod speaker seems like a great bargain! Too bad I have enough docks, and only one 30pin connector Apple product that would fit.

Shipping kills it for me. Most items were cheaper when they had 50 percent off and free shipping.

I bought like no tomorrow. Now my credit card tells me that I have no tomorrow…

  • Wow, the second most popular thing on that app page is the ice maker…

      EDIT.

      You changed your post…what happened?

      • Sorry it was sent to me and it's not working, once it's working i'll repost. Currently on the phone to dealsdirect to get the right code.

        • Cheers, mate. Hey post ASAP when you get it, I have some stuff ready to go, in the cart right now.

        • -1

Same, been waiting on phone for almost 20minutes to them :(

          The codes I received were
          COMEBACK10 or WELCOME10 or BUYME10

        • OK let us know.

  • +3

Careful about buying the slushie maker the reviews are really bad.

  • This is a super bargain: http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/two-way-rock-speaker-sandstone…
I think I paid $80 or $90 from Radio Parts last year.

    • What on earth is it?

      • A speaker designed to look like a rock - music in the garden, that kind of thing.

  • Couldn't pass up the iView e-reader - only $23.57 delivered to Gold Coast
And if Elmo videos work on this for the little'n I will be a very happy man.

    • And if Elmo videos work on this for the little'n I will be a very happy man.

you do realise how bad that sounds now?

      • C'mon Elmo rocks!
        Heh and @ $23.57 a very cheap babysitter/pacifier.
Making it more todler resistant will be problem. Bubblewrap and duct tape should do the trick.

        • …came with a decent case so sorted!

ebooks are sweet of course but music and videos too, so stoked I got this, spewing I didn't grab a handfull at that price for presents and backup

    • Sold out.

  • $8 AC/DC T-Shirt! Cue Beavis & Butthead…

  • Dammit, missed out on the highlander portable aircon at $147

    • I bought a Dimplex portable aircon. Returned it later that same day. So you didn't miss much.

  • Got the bread maker last week, it's fantastic.

    • Great to hear. I got one today. I like the fact that it can make 1.35kg loaves

  • hope they had a shipping cap.

    Vodka Slush recipe

    4 cups water
    7 oz frozen orange juice
    6 oz frozen cranberry juice
    1 cup sugar
1 bottle of grey goose vodka

    • You're going to use grey goose to make frozen slushie? A pointless waste.

  • Hey guys, anyone know why the Eurolab vacuum cleaner displays as $19.98 but on the actual page it is $49.95?

    • Looks like the sale is over…

      • Yes the shushie maker was $3.18 this morning.

    • +1

Nah its a glitch. Same thing happened to me with the breadmaker. Contacted live support and he gave me another link and it showed the rigth price. Could be your internet cache, try clearing it with ccleaner.

      • Big thanks. $31 delivered is awesome.

  • Anyone know if this is anygood for making some homemade beef jerkey? http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/eurolab-food-dehydrator-2/

    • why would u need a dehydrator to make beef jerky? it's soooo easy to make in the oven.

      • Yeh Ive done some research and almost every page I go to has instructions to make it in the oven, I honestly didnt know you could. I still considered the dehydrator for ease of use and the fact that my oven is like 40 years old and idk if the temp. gauge is 'reliable'. Still ill give the oven a shot and give the dehydrator a miss.

        • Nah you can't make proper beef jerky in the oven, much better off with the dehydrator. The oven will cook the meat too fast.
