  Not a bargain, much cheaper at Good Guys and Camera Paradise (haven't checked shipping at Camera's Paradise yet though)

  Yeah no bargain as they can easily be had for $550 and have gone as low as $530. Yes From bricks and mortar stores and yes Australian stock. Mark 2 is available now as well, best price I have got on paper is $725 from JB HiFi so for my two cents I would pay the difference and get the couple of cool features plus new backlit sensor.

  2 months back i bought it for $550 from wynyard george street camera shop including the Free bag.

  RX 100 II already out, with tilt screen BUT not made in Japan anymore
