I bought the 5m cable ($10) from MSY today, as they were out of stock of the 2m cable. Works beautifully.
dealextreme.com is a better bargain, their HDMI cables are cheaper than this deal (~$10 incl free postage), although this is an ok deal if you have to have it posted quickly.

Do you know what spec (or revision of the standard) the HDMI cables are that are sold at MSY?
I got one from MSY last year, do not remember the version of HDMI it supports, will check later, Looks like this one supports HDMI 1.3B (the newest version?), but I guess it may not be very necessary at this moment.
The Oznetics one is still cheap.
Would rather get one of these than drive to MSY to wait for a cheaper cable.Its the $50 super deluxe 1m cables that you need to avoid. They would do the same thing- display your picture in a digital format.
Of course, never buy Monster Cables, especially from Harvey Norman (why whould you buy a $400 cable)CrazyStu has one for ~10 posted.
And I got 2 cheap HDMI cables from Zazz for $13 with other TV connection goodies as well.
This might seem like 3 times the price of a "cheap" HDMI cable but its much better than some expert audio/visual places charging $50-$100 for a 1m cable that looks worse than the Oznetics one.
Im sure you can get better deals on HDMI than this…
vicsta, I think that if you're going to vote -ve with a justification of "Im sure you can get better deals on HDMI than this…", you should bother to do some research to back up your assertion, then share these better deals with the rest of the OzBargain community. After all, that's what this site is all about,, SHARING the best deals that you can find.

Oznetics is one of the three sellers that offer GOOD QUALITY HDMI cables for very good prices.
These are not the same inferior quality cables that MSY supply.
There are hundreds of people that can verify Oznetic quality at DVTForums and OCAU.There are a range of cables (of different quality) available at dealextreme. I would imagine the cheaper (sub US$10 versions would be of lower construction quality or a lower HDMI standard - thats why the HDMI rev is not stated). With the US currency still kicking our bums it works out more expensive than AU$10 for similar quality cables). The cable connectors are the most important part. I made the mistake a while ago of going down the "Monster" path (yes I'm an idiot) and the connectors already broke on my optical cables, and damaged my popcorn hour. So far I have got cables from local suppliers (Selby acoustics for their thickest optical cable - 8mm) and some HDMI cables from Oznetics. Because I ordered in bulk also the cables were cheaper (came with free post and arrived much quicker than dealextreme). Difference being that these cables both have very sturdy construction and you know what you are getting.
I love the gold plated optical cables ;)
I've used mainly the $10USD ones from DealExtreme and they've all worked fine. $10USD is almost $15AUD anyway and shipping should be quicker from oznetics
I have bought from Oznetics earlier, and I can confirm that their cables are top notch.
I guess this deal is for the quality conscious. I have 5 HDMI cables, and Oznetics is definitely right among them in terms of quality, at quarter the cost.Cheers,

Just checked MSY, and they have HIMI cable 2M for $5, the brand is A-Power, wondering if the cable here is of better quality.
