Leffe Brune Beer 24x 330ml - $66.99 Deliverd - ALDI

70

Leffe Brune Beer 24 x 330mL - $66.99 delivered (metro), very cheap for this Brown Leffe, best i could find was about 89 plus $15 delivery.

If its cheaper else where please tell me but i don't think so. This is much harder to find at a good price then the Blonde, so jump on and forget about the dishwater we call Aussie beer.

150 clicks, gone in four minutes… Reasonable by oz bargain standards!

  • Great deal. Grays Online used to have it for AU$69.99 but now it's a ridiculous $91.99 so you have to wait for a $40 voucher to get it cheap.

"Dishwater" - that's a bit harsh. I reckon we've got some pretty decent beers here. I quite fancy Mountain Goat, and James Squire ain't bad either. Wasn't too fond of the foreign Hoegaarden beer I got in the other deal, shall have to give this a taste some time though…

    • 4 Pines, White Rabbit, Mountain Goat, Squire, Matilda Bay (Fat Yak/Beez Neez/Redback)…plenty of decent Aussie beers.

      …nothing beats a Leffe Brune though :)

ok a bit harsh i agree, also Hoegaareden does have a unique taste, its not for everyone. Myself i;m not the biggest fan. But Leffe is great.

    • "dishwater" indeed.

I don't feel the need to pay through the nose for so-called boutique beers; I have sampled more than a few imports over the years but nothing has come close to Cooper's Sparkling and Cascade Premium.

  • I bought some of this for $80 for a case of 20. Brilliant beer and absolutely worth the price in 500ml bottles. http://www.purvisbeer.com.au/beer/Franziskaner-Hefe-Weissbie…

Sort of a Christmas present for my dad. It's the most popular beer at Octoberfest.

Purvis have a great beer selection, but prices of good German beer brings a tear to the eye as compared to the prices I pay in Germany (also for fully imported German beer's at Dan's).
The Franziskaner beer you've listed for $80/case sells for about $20/case in Germany.

I realise that it's fully imported in the bottle, so shipping costs are high…but beer prices in Australia are just obscene.
