Isn't it sad that it's cheaper to call US cell number on your mobile phone here, than calling AU mobile…

    • Don't US 'cell' users have to pay to receive calls as well as make them though?

      • Yep, they pay for "air time".

  • Oh gnoes! This is clearly going to help terrorists communicate all around the world — FOR CHEAP! It's gonna help me too… Cheers!

  • Lebara Mobile to Lebara Mobile: Free*†

Landlines and other Australian Mobiles: 20c per min*

      National SMS: 15c per message

*A flagfall of 15c applies and all prices include GST

    †Free for first 10 minutes, 20c thereafter

Very competitive for free calls and national/mobile calls.

  • How long does the credit last for?

    • 365 days according to the FAQ (second last point)
      http://lebara-mobile.com.au/en/faq.php

    • 180 days?

        • Will you able to make called within 360 days? or just the credit will last for 360 days?

    • "LEB-ARA MOBILE" stands for "LEB ARAB MOBILE"

    • It is IMPOSSIBLE to buy a Lebara SIM CARD Starter Pack at a Retail store or with good, old Cash. You MUST have a Credit Card.

    • According to their own Terms & Conditions on their Website, the Credit lasts 180 Days ONLY. No matter what bullshit anyone else says, including their own employees - their own employees have not read their own Terms & Conditions & have NO IDEA.

    • I say:

    KEEP AWAY FROM LEBARA!

    • oof that sounds a little personal…

      Leb Arab Mobile?

They are a British company started by a guy from Sri Lanka.

They have only just launched in Australia. They are partnered with e-pay so they have 18000 retail locations where top ups can be purchased. Whilst you may have a valid point about the lack of retail locations to purchase the sim packs this bargain is talking about the free sim card which is an online offer.

I find it amazing that you can make blatantly false claims without checking first. If you check out the website below, you will find the name came from "first letters of its founders’ names – Le(on), Ba(skaran), Ra(theesan)", much like Mykybe Diva.

  • Oh and the credit lasts up to 365 days as per the FAQ.

The credit only lasts 180 days after your last chargeable use. As long as you make a call or send a text once every six months the credit stays.

Their Call Centre (1300-126-122) is ALL INDIAN.

Be aware of this if you hate Indians and/or Indian accents.

    • Alex Portnoy, eh? Perhaps You have a "Portnoy's complaint" of your own regarding foreign women? Perhaps foreign men?
