Kleenex 12 Roll Toilet Paper for $4.50 -- Half Price

280

Saw this nice 1/2 price deal today at coles. Bought 1 though I had plenty of toilet paper in stock. $4.5 for a 12 roll is too good to pass up and especially with a brand like Kleenex

PS: I know this is part of the Mygrocer deals post, but still I never go through that and thought this warranted a separate post

Good price. Although I find that we're happier with the 3-ply from Aldi, which is 8.99 for 24 rolls.

Not to mention the 60 day refund policy !!!

They love it when I return my used, shitty teepee!

Good price. But my experience is that Kleenex is not strong enough. With the fear that it will break, I ended up using more.
I feel better with Sorbent and Purex. Might try Aldi brand after reading empt456's post

quilton 3 ply craps all over this stuff :P

I see what you did there.

    • Can you explain to me why? Its toilet paper, does it really matter which is the best? I work at coles and 3 separate people bought the quilton 20 pack for $10. I told each of them that the kleenex is $9 for 24 rolls, they all said they prefer quilton. I dont get it…

I prefer Kleenex because it’s biodegradable and made from renewable resources, so it cares for the environment as much as it cares for you.

      • doesn't rip

I find the quilton is more gentle on my anus.

also when I wipe, the quilton is less likely to tear… this has multiple ramifications
        1. my hand does not get messy
        2. i dont end up with bits of toilet paper on my bottom
        3. my bottom is cleaner.
        4. I use less sheets of paper.

I hope this clears the murky waters for you :P

(I assume you wanted the detail - why would you ask otherwise???)

        • indeed - have often thought a flushable "baby wipe type material" would go down well …
didnt realise that they actually went and made it.

        • Lol, made me chuckle. Thanks for the vivid description. (lol @ gentle on my bottom)

Honest though, I cant imagine kleenex could be that bad, and id imagine its a matter of degrees.

kleenex is just not strong…. you dont want it got broken when you wipe off your ***t

Yep, quilton is a way better

    • People will put sh*£ on YOU for a joke like that

  • My comment on another Kleenex post.

Agree. Kleenex is "crap". You end up using a combination of Kleenex + hand to wipe. Sorbent is similar but a little stronger.

I swear by Quilton. 18 rolls for $8 at Big W (around 44 cents) but 3 ply, stronger, softer, and you use less so better value for money not to mention having a clean hand at the end of it.

    quilton tissue all the way..

get it from big w, not coles..

      Whats the diff?

      • Cheaper at big w.

  • I'm fitting a bidet toilet that I got from Japan. I'll never have to pay for toilet paper again, except when I need to buy a couple when visitors come over.

  • Quilton or Aldi 3 ply for me.

Check the inside of the Quilton roll next time you finish one - QUILTON loves your bum!
