    • Wow that is a pretty decent deal though.

  • I have this crazy little theory that Logitech would be more inclined to honour those who paid via Paypal more than via Credit Card, because with Paypal money is taken out automatically while with Credit Card it isn't.

I'm thinking this because carmar's order was cancelled even though it was bought before the Bargain was posted.

    It's a crazy theory, yes.

    • I agree, however, the delay and no communication from them makes me skeptical.

It's a shame, I've owned the TF10 in the past and was really looking forward to being reunited with them.

If I got a 40% coupon I wonder if I should jump on the UE 900.

        • Yeah it is. I was upgrading from a pair of UE600's that I gave to the missus. Got a pair of beyerdynamic DT770's but they are a little less portable/fashionable/petite. hope another deal pops up on these before they disappear for good.

    • Why wouldn't they just do a paypal refund?

  • wonder what they will do with those of us that have already paid. Probably soak up some interest for themselves before refunding.

    • Well let us know if PayPal payers DO get the item - won't be happy if they do!

  • No news from anybody else?

    • I got the email saying it's cancelled and given 40% discount deal. Not happy. The closest to Triple Fi 10 was the UE900 and with 40% off it will cost $300. Still over $100 more expensive!

      • That's bad to hear. Did you have to chase them up and contact them before you got an email? I'm expecting a cancellation email but haven't got one yet.

        • Nope, got the email this morning. I paid by CC though. I emailed back asking for a bigger discount but no reply yet. Might give them a ring and scream

Edit: didn't see your recent post.

The UE 900 is a really good deal at $300, however of course it sucks having to shell out an extra $130 all of the sudden.

        • Yup. I called and they said no can't do better than that. I guess I'll have to shell out the extra.

  • I also wrote back asking for a bigger discount.
    See what happens

  • Anybody actually receive any updates at all yet?

  • nope nothing, after emailing back about a bigger discount

  • Very frustrating that these clowns haven't even made any contact with most people to let them know what is going on after a week.

    • +2

yeah its pretty amatuer. maybe they should let logitechshop do deals for them

      • no further discounts

        got this reply

"I am sorry to inform you that we won't be able to change the current price of the Ultimate Ears 900 on the website. However, you may use the Discount Code we provided if you wish to purchase the said item"

  • +1

Extremely disappointing to get no response from Logitech when it's been nearly two weeks since this deal was put up.

    • Does anybody have a phone number to contact these clowns? I'm either getting a confirmation or a refund.

      • I called them up and the order is still 'pending' from the sales department and that they haven't received a reply yet. She said that she put through a follow-up request.

Don't know if this means I will actually get them or not, will have to wait and see.

        • I got the same response as well on Thursday… promised me a response 24-48 hours and I'm still waiting. Pretty ridiculous. Paid by PayPal

        • I'm gonna wait till the two weeks ticks over and call them on Thursday morning with both barrels loaded.
I dont suppose anyone has spoken with a manager or supervisor over there? Not sure how it works with them as I haven't called em before.

Anyone think the ue900 is worth it for $300.

    • +1

I've heard of quality control issues with the UE 900 with its sound cutting out now and then at the cable connections and the black faceplate wearing out (scratching) quickly. Other than that it's a good price for a quad BA driver earphone.

      • I had a bit of an issue with my UE900 with the blue cable. Sent the entire back for a free replacement (awaiting the replacement). Logitech support is pretty good from what I can gather.

Am using my secondary pair of rough/gym use IEMs (pair of UE200vi), god they sound so shite! Can't wait to get my UE900 back.

I wouldn't buy them from these guys. Better off for everyone involved in this sham if you politely tell them to shove that voucher as far up their collective dirt pipes as inhumanly possible.

  • "Thank you for placing an order on the Logitech online store.

We are aware that you have ordered the Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 from our website. In a short period of time, there has been an enormous number of orders and the system was not able to show the inventory status in the shopping cart real-time. Due to this system error, I regret to inform you that we will have to cancel your order.

Logitech values you as a loyal customer and to compensate for this incident, we are providing you a Discount code. This code will allow you to place an order from our website with a discount of 40%."

Yea..no. Not going to bother with such slow and atrocious service again and I don't feel like spending $300 on the UE900 which has quality control issues at the moment and a sound signature I really wasn't looking for either.

A damn shame, I wanted that TF10 sound that I miss.

Still waiting for a refund, wonder how long that crap will take…

  • Called the support and wrote an email today after an automatic cancellation email was send to me. I've paid by Paypal so not happy about how the refund is going to occur. And the guy on the phone offer no help and ask me to reply back to the donotreply email address.

I should've bought the UE900 when it was on 50% off at DS, or Logitech to offer similar pricing to the UE TripleFi 10. Not happy with Logitech, and this is after my order was cancel for the HN Logitech keyboard.

  • Don't bother with UE900 people even with the "discount".

    1. $300 is the retail price overseas anyway.
    2. They don't deserve your money after the crap they are putting us all through.
    3. The UE900 has serious quality control issues at the moment. Do you really want to have to go through the warranty process after what you've seen?
    • -1

Well, you certainly wouldn't want to get them from overseas if QC is a problem!

      • Why buy them if they have such atrocious QC issues in the first place? These aren't $20 throw-aways.

        • -1

Do they really have atrocious QC issues, or do people only post when they have complaints? My friend's UE900 is working fine so far, but he's never posted on a forum to tell people it's working fine.

        • There's certainly a lot of people complaining about it though, which makes me think it isn't a rare occurrence at all. Never really seen this before with the more expensive headphones.

  • +1

So has anybody actually gotten these at all or is this just one big flop?

  • Still waiting for my refund, paid via PayPal. Anyone get their money back yet?

    • +1

refund received last night at 11:30pm.

Surely there is grounds to report these asshats to ACCC for bait advertising? For all the good it will do anyway.

Having order cancelled after 2 weeks of no contact then a refund another week later is grinding my gears, not the fact that they don't have stock.

  • I was wondering why I hadn't received these yet, and eventually logged into Logitech to see that my order was cancelled. Would have been nice for them to send me an email or something to tell me.

  • This is ridiculous is now been a month and I still haven't gotten my refund.
