  • Yer, got this in my email too, did my dates as per last 50% off sale now they are $30 cheaper a night (I am only staying a night). The last sale was non-refundable, same as this one, any chance of a refund in price difference if I call up? I guess I'll live and learn to perhaps wait a bit next time…sigh…

oh and good deal op, my hearts just not in it after finding out I could have saved another $30 if I waited a month or so to book.

    • any chance of a refund in price difference if I call up?

It's unlikely, but possibly worth a try, particularly if you have Platinum Le Club Accor status with one of the free offers floating around.

I've managed to get price differences refunded on non-refundable rates with Hilton before; they emailed me back saying they'd make a "one time exception" (despite having done it twice now :P) to the rate rules because of my status/"loyalty". YMMV; I wouldn't expect any help with Accor, but you might be surprised.

doubt it - but no harm trying :)

perhaps next time use tingo to price match then get price drop refunds :)

      • whoops, slipped my mind so not on the ball this week, will shoot them a quick email and see what they say, cheers for the tingo tip, thank you both for your suggestions :D

  • Still not half prices in Sydney CBD (on the dates I want anyhow).

    • limited rooms/dates => already booked out :(

    • During last 50% sale I got a very good deal for Ibis hotel Sydney CBD at approx. $110 per night in late June. I will never stay at Ibis though – too small and no free upgrade to a better room.

      • Yeah I had a look then too and couldn't see any dates either. I'd take an Ibis I just don't want to pay $200 for an average looking room for a night out with the wife.

  • JUST on time!!!

    Cheers!

  • I saw that deal on their Web site but finding a hotel that participates in the deal is really painful.

  • +1

If u are le club member they also have the promotion - stay 4 nights get free samsonite luggage as previously listed on ozbargin.

  • No availability for any day at all at Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains. Even though they say that this property is included in the promotion.

    • :( unfortunate but perhaps not surprising given that it's the best place there besides lilianfels and wolgan valley

  • Overall, I thought that this promotion was the usual dud from Accor, however, I am an Advantage Plus member, and I did book a room lastnight. I wanted to stay at Sofitel Broadbeach this Sat and the price it was giving me was $274.50 because "there are no more discount rooms available", but when I plugged in my Advantage Plus number it offered me a price of about $198 (it was very late and I forget the exact price) - so that was discount of at least 27%. So I'm happy with that.

  • scored novotel on collins in melb for 125/night yahoo!
