  • Bought 2. Handy stocking stuffers… Thanks OP

  • Thanks OP, recently lost my parker pen so this came at the right time.

  • Bought 2
    thanks a lot

    • If buyer opts for standard delivery ($2)
We don't take any responsibility if parcel is lost in transit

    Can they really do that?

      No

Fair trading rules > aust post rules > ebay rules > seller rules.

  • Got one. Thanks.

  • 42 sold in one hour O.O

  • I've been buying a bit of stuff from stationeryart.com lately, who are pretty good — though their stock levels are a bit flakey on many items.

Does anyone know of anywhere better/cheaper in general than them for pens/mech pencils etc?

  • Seems to be the regular price from the same seller since Feb/2013 (before was $11.95 and $12.45), so I am not too excited to stock up for X'mas yet. Added to my watch list though. Thanks OP.

    Real or fake?

  • Expired. Jacked up price.

Greedy Ebay seller. He was selling this for no more than $13 since the very first, and keeping a constant price for over 7 months. Now with the exposure to OZB, he should be cheering for clearing the stock, rather than jacking the price up to a ridiculous level.

      Removed from my watch list.

      • eBay sellers do this when they run low on stock or out of stock to avoid having to end the auction, it's common and happens all the time with high volume sellers selling items that might take a while to get back into stock.

  • Yup, now $30

For those who still want one, it is available for $11.95 from a different Australian seller

I bought these before. I had a parker purchased from officeworks a year ago and they are not the same, the quality is half of the officeworks one (probably why it's half the price). The pens do not state where they are made in as well but the seller said these are "cheap imports from America".

    • Sounds like counterfeit

The seller didn't state genuine Parker on the page, will paypal/ebay protect the buyers from fake items?

      • Yes they will, but you will have to send it back to them (shipping is buyers responsibility), that's why I kept it in the end and used it for clicking battles

  • Seller has raised it to $30, hope no one buy form his store.

    • 2 people have bought it even after the ridiculous price hike

      • Last buyer (assuming accidentally) bought 3 at $30 each…ouch!

Is there an eBay policy protecting buyers from recent price hikes, possibly allowing them to retract their purchase if they wish?

        • I guess, buyer can message seller and ask for cancelling their order. Because of any reason, if seller refuses to do that, buyer doesn't have to pay for it and eventually it will be cancelled.

Pens are in stock. I contacted seller and price hike was to avoid over selling item than stock.

        • How do you accidentally buy at a new price? It asks you multiple times to confirm the price, when you click buy it now and at least two more times.

And there is no eBay policy protecting people against their inability to read.

    I expect/trust ozbargainers know a few things

It is an eBay item anyway!

    • I was wondering why it goes crazy this time, and assumed most ozbers are knowledgeable and experienced. I almost pulled the trigger because of the ozb No.1 rule, as it's obviously being ozbargained, but luckily I checked the sale history and found it's just a regular price from that seller.

Normally ebay deals are not popular on OZB, and people could always find better price even it's not exist at the time, but not the case this time. :(

I bet we see bargainswest post a deal on ozbargain in the near future.

  • Hope all the purchases are honored, that's a lot of pens sold!

    • Yes from India though you'll be waiting weeks.

  • Buy a Lamy Safari from Melpens for $25. You won't need another pen again!

    • right, just many bottles of ink.

  • $12.95 NOW

  • it is $11.45, not $12.95

Just received mine. Clearly a fake. The clicking mechanism is atrocious.

    • agreed - the sound of the clicking is hideous

      • If you guys are sure that they are fake make sure you leave him negative feedback so other people know before buying.
