Got 2x for $160 ea. Just ask around on fb, many people act as resellers for these main events.

  • +2

hard copy first release tickets are $160 on ebay w/ free postage

    • Melbourne and Brisbane we are introducing a new way to enter and connect with Future Music Festival using new technology which is used at the biggest music festivals in the world including Coachella, Lollapollooza and Tomorrowlands and provided by a company called Intellitix.

You will receive a receipt via email as proof of purchase
You will NOT receive a ticket
Instead of ticket/s you will receive a wristband/s via post to your nominated delivery address
Wristbands will be dispatched in February 2014

    • Yeah, don't buy tickets off eBay…

    • not sure if id trust buying tickets online unless it was actually through the promotor, never sure if they will actually work until the day

Please note that the following are all affiliate links, i am only including these as it is the only way to get FMF tickets at the moment and when public tickets are released later on they will not be this cheap (was an extra $15 last year )

Futuremusics own site provides a code of FMF14. non-affiliated, and an extra ticket option: http://www.futuremusicfestival.com.au/2014/tickets/

    • missed that, not sure if on sale yet though.. when selecting the tickets it says

      On Sale: 12:00pm, Tue 1st Oct, 2013

      • thats the date for the actual public sale, futuremusic site states on sale til 6pm 30th September. And ive got mine.

These music festivals were good when they were about the music - All it is now is Who has the biggest arms and shortest shorts.

    • +2

I had the biggest arms and shortest shorts before it was cool.

    • That's if you can call what a lot of the girls (and scarily some of the guys, haha) wear, "shorts"… more like "material belts". :P

      • I can't afford clothes, do I win?

        • No. There have been several free t-shirt offers on ozbargain.

Or do you mean you don't wear pants?

        • Free t-shirts where ?? I'm still waiting for my insightly shirt.

Damn that's some pretty decent headliners.

Wish our festivals weren't so bloody expensive though…tends to make people think they need to get messed up because its costing them so much.

    • +1

So who amongst that lot are the headliners? Bring back Sunbury!

  • +1

i remember going to future when tickets were under $100

    sigh

    • +4

now you really wish you could go back to the future.

  • With the decline in festival attendance and the demise of a number of well known festivals, they are trying very hard to flog their tickets. Good to see the balance of power shift back to consumers.

    • Future Entertainment has gone into liquidation after last year's poor attendance

      http://www.inthemix.com.au/industry/56276/Future_Entertainme…

      • I think the Big Day Out and Soundwave are way more rip off than the European festivals.

It's a shame they price them so high as I just don't bother anymore and if enough people don't bother, it's bust.

        • +2

What's worse are the drink prices. Then they wonder why so many people do drugs.

  • Industry tickets are $160. Stores like Glue and Supre usually sell them, otherwise you need to find a promoter who has some

  • Can't wait until future music is past music.
