Priceline have BOGOF on Almay products at the moment. Wouldn't be an issue to take advantage of that, then send in the cashback form, would it? Good timing!

T&C's state it's not valid in conjunction with any other offer… not sure if they mean on their (Almays) end, or store from where it is purchased.

    • If you spend over $40 I think it was you also get a gift set.
Was at Bourke St today, they had x2 CC Creams left, and no gift sets left.
      Try your local store.

      • The Bourke St Mall one? There's three on Bourke St (at least).

        • Has anyone had any luck with the cashback and the the BOGOF? I noticed that some Pricelines don't have the specially marked pack anymore.

  • Is CC cream the next version of BB cream?

    • What's the difference between BB and CC cream?

      • BB - beauty balm; CC - complexion corrector

CC is lighter on the skin than BB and can act as concealer to even out complexion. CC seems to be the new "in" thing for beauty-based money-making schemes ;-) BB has been all over Asia for about a decade now.

        • Who ever invents the DD cream will be rich!

  • Great find! Will go look out for this tomorrow at Priceline!

  • Douh!! Bought one of these but bought it with a higher price item at $21 to take advantage of the BOGOF promotion and the receipt showed up as the CC cream for free! Not sure if they will process the claim now… But be warned as don't want this to happen to others!

  • Went to Northcote Priceline and got two of them but in different shades, plus took GWP to the register as well and it scanned at $0, hehe. It's almost impossible to find the 200 Light/Medium shade…

  • Bought 2 at Priceline, it actually is a very good product but I would never have tried it without this offer.

    • I guess their promotion is working :)

    • Is the product oily? The reviews arent too well on Makeupalley, only got 3/5

  • Best thing you can do is try it after all it's free. Everyone has different skin types and not all products work for everyone.

  • Just bought mine yesterday with the bogof offer. What if you send the original receipt and they don't process it? Will they give the receipt back as I bought random things to try and wouldn't want to keep it if it's not free.

    • I photocopied my receipt in case of this type of situation. I have not opened the Almay products I bought. I also purchased it on my card, so that's another form of proof of purchase.

Received my EFTPOS giftcard this week! :)

    • Hi tanoshiiki. Can I ask how soon did you receive your EFTPOS giftcard after you sent your mail? Many thanks.

    • Hi tanoshiiki. Was your CC cream a specially marked pack? Were there any stickers on it? And how long did it take for the giftcard to arrive? thanks

      • Yes, it was a specially marked pack, but I don't know if it makes any difference for the form and redemption.

As per my comments in this thread, I bought on the 29th September and I received my EFTPOS giftcard in the week of the 19th October. Therefore around a 2-3 week turnaround.

        • Glad that others are also asking about this, I was wondering about my Almay redemption the other day! I should have kept a date as to when I sent the form in… fingers crossed that the cashback comes soon.

  • I purchased this with the BOGOF & the gift set and had sent the cash back redemption form to Almay 3 weeks back.

Followed up with Almay yesterday on the cashback and the following is the response from almay:

    Dear xxxxx,

As addressed in the terms and conditions stated on Almay.com.au (http://www.almay.com.au/pdf/revlon-almay-try-me-free-v5-tc-a…) your claim is not valid as the offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Your purchase was made when the CC cream was on Promotion for Buy one get one Free.

    TERMS & CONDITIONS
1.Information on how to claim and the cash back form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offer.

No dramas from my side as their T&C is clearly indicated this. YMMV?

  • Anyone else received their cashback with the bogof offer?

    • Oh no, I haven't received mine either… and now from reading the post above, it looks like I won't get my cash back afterall. :(

  • looks like I am not going to get the cashback due to the BOGOF ……
Wasted $20 on a shit product… 0/10 for this brand and product..
Wont buy Almay and Revlon product AGAIN! NEVER!

    • I haven't opened mine yet. Is the product really that bad, or are you just upset you might not get a cash back? If you haven't opened it, you could possibly get a refund from Priceline. If the product really is that bad, I'm curious to know why, as I'm planning to open mine soon.

      Any what's wrong with Revlon?

I was lucky(?) and did receive the cashback card. On my receipt, I explicitly highlighted the relevant Almay CC line for the staff member to see. That may have distracted them to reading the rest of the receipt details…

      • I was another customer who bought to try just because of the cash back… I do feel disappointed, but I've opened it and used it anyway. It's not too bad if you want light coverage - just don't expect it to be like a foundation. Not sure what the difference between this and BB cream is, but I do prefer my BB cream over it simply because it is less oily.

I think ade123 mentioned Revlon because they own Almay.

Lucky you for getting the cashback!

        • Fair enough re: the Revlon comment then. The conditions were made clear that it was not valid with any other offer. I count myself lucky that they sent me a giftcard! Mistakes happen!

I still haven't opened the products yet. Some of the MUA reviews are scaring me a bit. If it doesn't work out, I don't think I will try to return it but just give it to a friend, since it was effectively free.

@ade123 Since it was BOGOF, you would have got this product or another at about half price, so don't feel too upset. If you still have a copy of the receipt (personally, I made a copy, just in case) and haven't opened it, just return it to Priceline. They usually have very good customer service.
