    •Cast Iron Dutch Oven 4L $19.99

    You can buy dutch ovens?
I've always been a DIY kind of guy…

    (And I'm dutch)

      That joke stinks

    • Disgusting.

      1. no idea that was a joke…
      2. dont get it….

seriously can anyone explain to me?

hey sarge, you forgot your chips!
(for fans of The Late Show and specifically, Bargearse)

  • Is that HD indoor antenna worth to try if I don't have a receiption in my area?

    • +1

      probably not :(
      http://www.dtvforum.info/index.php?showtopic=32846

but you could always buy/try then return :)

the info/links in http://www.theage.com.au/digital-life/hometech/tricks-to-fix… might help

      also perhaps http://www.tvantenna.com.au

Is that HD indoor antenna worth to try if I don't have a receiption in my area?

No antenna will work if you do not have any reception.

      • Sorry I write it wrong, should be "if I don't have a GOOD receiption in my area?" :p

Because I heard that if over the roof antenna not working well sometime doesn't mean indoor will not work well.

    • +1

They are absolute rubbish. Bunny ears do a far better job. I got one last time and I went from having ok reception that would trick out if people walked around (with the bunny ears), to no reception On all channels but like 3, and even then it was a scrambled slide show (with then digital indoor HD antenna and AC power)

  • +1 for projection alarm clock.

nice work with the scanned flyer.

I bought the torque wrench last time. It's really good quality and definitely worth $20. I think I paid more last time, maybe $29?

    • This one caught my eye too.. seems like good value. Might get it!

    • whats it rated for?

      • +1

can't remember exactly. I'll check tonight, but I think it's rated for 220-250nm or something like that. I normally use it for wheel nuts, so I only need 120nm. It takes 1/2 inch sockets too, so it's not that small!

        • +1

rated for 220-250nm or something like that

Wow that's a little low don't you think? Maybe 220-250 N.m is a little more sufficient.

    • small torque wrenches seem to be dropping in price everywhere!

is the 2200W Convection Microwave any good?

    • +2

Yes, quite good. Failed after nearly 4 years, but good until then.

      • +1

thanks, just i would think this should last longer.

  • Has anyone tried their car/motorcycle battery charger?

    • +1

I've got one, used it a few times. I used after a 4 week holiday on two cars. 1, to deep cycle a battery that should be replaced, took a few days, but worked.

On the other car, left it on slow charge until it was finished (about 1 day) and that seemed to work fine to.

So seems to be charging fine, but on't have anything else to compare it to though.

  • ALDI Special Buys - Baby

Is the Aldi baby made in China? Will Aldi honour its no question asked return policy?

  • Did you scan the catalogue ? Thanks for doing that if you did. + for me.

  • Keep in mind Kogan sell a 30L convection microwave for $159, delivery about $30, and you can get a 5 year extended warranty for $29.

    http://www.kogan.com/au/buy/30l-convection-microwave-oven

    • already bought the Aldi one, $20 cheaper and with 3 years warranty, just I kind of like the control panel of Kogan one.
