      • thanks heaps :D

    @OP , 12th of October is 12/10 not 12/11 :)

    • Thanks wicket1120
      Fixed
      Have a nice day

  • Anyone have any experience with Bauhn. Seems cheap but not sure about quality for the money

Input lag can be very high so may not be good for games. Previously returned one for refund. It also had massive light bleeding.

    • My parents have 42" and it has been faultless for 3 years now… i think the quality is better than TCL or soniq. As it is basic cheap TV with some descent features and picture quality, it cannot compare to high end Samsungs etc… So videophiles and serious gamers will not like it..

  • So no audio output? That kinda sucks.

    • 1 x Headphone Output (3.5mm)

This at least lets you plug in a computer-style Logitech 2.1 system, which greatly improves the sound. Sure, it's not a digital connection with a 5.1 or 7.1 system, but it's still usually better than the inbuilt TV speakers. :)

    • Processing: 60Hz
Isnt that gonna be reducing the picture quality quite a bit? I thought 100Hz was low.

      lol what

50/60hz is the norm for cheaper sets

here's what i dislike about this set

it has a bad scaler…. it does not handle SD material all that well

if you feed it 720p or 1,080p from a laptop where the scaling is already done, its as good as any other brand name set but from anything else?

i shudder to think what its like with composite

60 Hz, too slow for playing ps3 games

  • Hey would this be suitable for PS3 gaming?

    • +1

If it's anything like the other Braun ones, no, cause it will have HIGH input lag. Maybe tolerable for racing games, but for shooters you'll really notice it.

    • +1

Previous models have been plagued with high input lag, that is a delay of up to almost 200ms for the picture is displayed. High input lag is no good for gaming and is like drunken reflexes.
If your really set on this there's a chance this unit may have fixed previous lag issues, and there's always the money back guarantee.

  • Anyone bought this from the previous deal? Very interested but not sure if I'm wasting my time with it. Any advice would be great
