Would you "paid" for R9 now and get it later ?

I come across this when surf their sites, could not find any more details about the "deal". The pic only has 1 fan which is not very good [ ithink ] for a R9. Why one paid for the thing that he can't hold it … oh it's called deposit … What do you think about the card and the "deal".

Edit: AMD Radeon R9.

not a great deal of lucid thought in that post

    A) If your gaming PC has only one fan its rubbish

    B) Seriously

    C) You need a decent CPU to feed an R9

  • 1 fan can be very good depending on the design. 2 fans are often used to reduce noise rather than improve cooling.

Given that you don't link a card or a deal it is hard to comment further. There are a range of R9 cards though, many of which are the same or very similar to existing products, so perhaps just look at getting one of them. If you are talking about getting an R9-290/R9-290X then there aren't even any reviews yet, so I wouldn't touch it until we know more about it.

  • Opps my bad it's from this. Personally, i won't get it thou. By the way, R7, R9 280x, R9 270x are here, i see no prices "drops" in the old timer …

    • No price, no reviews, wouldn't touch it.

      • Wrong Brucie. R9 reviews are already all over the internet, minus the 290X. I'd know, since I already bought a 280X.

        • 'R9' is not a card. It isn't even a chip type. Your 280X is just a 7970 and is NOT a 290X.
