Does anyone know if the tell me coles 1000flybuys points when you purchase over $100 works for gift cards? Also does the monthly mail vouchers that come in the mail work for the gift cards? And do they work only once?the vouvhers states excluded coles group cards, does this mean also the SHELL gift cards? Cheers.
I just received some coupons which are spent $60 and get 1500 flybuys points, have a total of 6, for next 2months, because I was planning to purchase the ordinary Shell petral cards which they used to have, assuming that its not part of coles group, now their cards are rebranded to coles express.
My original idea was to purchase $100 shell cards, and use my voucher =1500 and the tell me coles spend $100 and get 1000 points, which makes up to be $15.
The tell coles survey gives you either a $5 voucher for spending $100 OR 1000 points added to your acccount without you having to spend anything. Each option is worth $5. The points are useful if you never spend $100 in any transaction. You have to wait about a month for them but provided you have lots of other bonus points coming in, you should be able to redeem $10 of flybuys dollars as soon as your account reaches 2000 points.
Let me know if you get a definite answer on the gift cards. I doubt you'll be able to buy any giftcards to qualify for the reward but it would be good to know. I think I asked flybuys recently about one specific promotion and whether you could buy non coles giftcards to get to the qualifying value. The gift cards weren't allowed for the specific promotion I asked about but there could be different rules for different promotions.

As far as I know most of the mailed coupons can be used once only. There were a couple of coupons in the last run which could be used multiple times but these are fairly rare and weren't a very high value coupon.
I don't know the rules on non Coles gift cards and whether they count as a qualifying purchase. I think that the Coles Express gift cards now count as Coles group gift cards. The best people to contact would be the supervisor level people of the flybuys customer service call center. I doubt the frontline people would be able to give you a definite answer. You'd have to get someone senior to call you back.
