  • As with android, there are games which are ridiculously priced and then doesn't work on your device. This is one of them. Whilst, I don't condone the practice of sideloading its APK - I suggest you try it for games more than $4.99AUD to avoid disappointment.

    • I'm pretty piracy comments are frowned upon around here my friend. Let's keep that on the down-low, yeah?
Maybe try winning some Google Play credit via the KitKat promo to keep the costs down would be a better alternative*.

*I do not condone gambling. KitKat promo may induce compulsive and/or addictive behavior.

They say FF7 is still years away from being ported, due to memory/storage issues. Sounds more like a cynical cash grab to me, as I suspect they are saving their crown jewel for a more profitable future.

  • FF games have always been pricy
even on IOS as they are usually a 1 for 1 port
think the FF series on IOS are 20 bucks each usually

I bought this game at full price and have been having a blast (works great on my THL W100). This is a well polished game (they redid the graphics in the iOS and Android versions) and also has the extra content from the GBA version. The price really isn't that bad, its a full length game, I've put 10 hours into the game and would be maybe halfway through and its much cheaper than the original or the GBA version were on release. The controls are very similar to FF:Dimensions and mostly work well, but I would suggest turning off diagonal movements.

As for the game itself, its a pretty stock standard fantasy storyline, group of people get vaulted into saving the world. The writing in V is a lot weaker than IV or VI, but I don't find it a hinderance. The class system is certainly stronger than the other FF games until this point, and would be one of the highlights of the game; you get many RPG classes you would be familiar with, and a lot more than have the final fantasy touch to them and all together let you fight battles the way you want to fight battles.

  • can i transfer save to other phone/tablet without root.
if it is like the FF4 and FF dimension that cannot then I wont buy :(
