Ipod Classic $287.28 Normally $339@ Officeworks (with 5% price guarantee)

140

After seeing that JB Hi-Fi had 10% off all ipods, I thought I could do one better with so many stores these days having 'lowest price guarantees'

So the Ipod Classic at JB Hi-Fi is currently $302.40 and Officeworks guarantees to match it and beat it by 5%, so since it was more expensive at Officeworks, I got it for $287.28!

This applies to all the ipods (and pretty much anything else in store), because they're all cheaper at JB Hi-Fi.

Just note, that its probably best to print off a page at the JB website to prove it to them (although they do have to verify it themselves).

  • this is a good pickup. I did the same with my wife's 16gb touch. Big W were advertising it recently for $398 with an itunes card, so we took that to officeworks and they beat it at $378 including the itunes card.

Most bargainers understood how to work the OW policy, technically this isn't a deal but a forum topic. OW has a tendency of matching and updating their price when met with printed catalogue items from JB hifi and DSE. SO the price beating is only for the early buyers when OW not alert with the deal.
eg. DSE doing WD 400GB HDD for $158, some ppl got them to beat, however OW price changed to $158 the next day. This happens often so you cannot claim the deal is always available.

    • Yeah OW update their price very quick!
