Most of us waiting for JB sony deal which I think it's better and cheaper than this

Mine turned up about 1.5 weeks ago.

        I am still waiting :(

    • Have received mine also

  • 5V 1000mA USB output

Is this enough for a tablet?

    • Enough to power it while using it.
I'd imagine it would be pretty slow to charge a tablet during use.

    • Should be. USB 2.0 spec is 500mA so any device that will charge off a 2.0 port will be fine.

  • 10400mA with dual USB PORT - 1 with 2.1amp and other port with 1amp is available from amazon shipped for $35.

And was on special in jbhifi too few weeks back.
    This is half it's charge.

    • If you're referring to the Sony one at JB, it wasn't a special; it was a pricing error which they generously honoured. I got mine, and it's a great little device.

  • As another option, a search on ebay for "50000mAh Power Bank" (that's 50,000 not 5,000) brings up quite a few results, lowest priced one is about $30 including delivery. That unit can charge two items simultaneously, with a 1 amp and a 2.1 amp outlet. I purchased one of these this year, from another ebay seller. I haven't used it much yet, however in testing I've found with the 2.1 amp outlet it charged an ipad 3 from empty to about 70% capacity. I would have expected more than that.

I got this it is the last time it was on sale.

    GOOD
    Metal enclosure
    Compact size
Single use cord for charge and discharge(charge phone)
    Charge

    BAD
Charges my xperia phone fairly slowly, if gaming it can't even keep up.
Charges my xperia ion for about 1.5 times only, don't think that's really 5xxx capacity.
The blue LEDs are way too bring and can't be turned off

  • Pretty crap product if you ask me. Won't even charge your ipad battery by half.

Better to get an 18650 external battery pack such as Coolook for about $15 and buy 4 X Panasonic 3400mAH ($9 each) batteries. That will be way better than this product as you will have more than double the battery power.

  • my 2 cents I would pay a little more and grab this, from a well known brand.

    • that looks pretty good. gonna get one for my dad. thanks!

      • nps I've had 2 different Anker products over the years and both have been excellent.
