Looking to find a half decent TV for the gf for Christmas.

Spewing i missed out on the free delivery offer, ah well. And i know the resolution isnt great, 1366*768 HD 720, but she's the sort of chick that wouldnt worry bout it as long as its still a decent picture which i'd assume it would be.
Can anyone suggest a better/cheaper alternative for similar specs?

Not easy (read very difficult) to find a 28" cheaper than $169. For a $100 more you are in the Changyoung, Palsonic range. The cheapest Samsung 28" you can get for $289 as a factory second or new for around $360…
