  • Was unable to use delivery on the red. Click and collect only.

  • Manage to secure a White and Red one. Both on click and collect. Thanks alot op. You save me money than spending extra on overpriced creative headphones.

Ordered 2 more red. 4 total.

  • still showing free delivery on red.

Ozbargaining and posting deals at 4am in the morning… Love it.

  • Won't let me click on delivery option now. Only C&C.

  • and even c and c wont work…error message when try to complete order…

  • Delivery option gone, but click and collect option still works for me. Thanks OP.

  • Delivery option first appeared disabled but then, afterchosing the George st shop for c& c, it appeared enabled and at that point I put delivery. A bit weird but seems to be working. It might be that first they want to know which shop and what suburb you are asking for.

  • Is it possible to price beat it at The Good Guys..

Good question. Tell us when you find out.

  • Free shipping, then you go to the checkout and its grayed out…

PITA, good price but I don't need another pair I guess (as in I would have if they delivered). Have to make do with <1week old UE6000

  • Sold out near me at Melbourne

  • Thanks heaps mate.
Ordered a black pair for myself and a white for the misses(as a stocking filler).
They appear to be good quality for the price and Phillips is a brand I trust.
Would you wear these in public like Beats or are they not "hip" enough?

    • +8

I wouldn't wear Beats in public (or at all), but I would wear these if that answers your question…

    • Hey, how did you get through the checkout? I always get "error creating order" :-(

edit: NVM had to change stores for C&C - all good :-)

    • +7

wearing these would at least get you thumbs up from fellow ozbargainers in the public =]

If you see someone with a $5 KFC dinner box in one hand listening to awful 80s music through these $10 black headphones on my $150 HTC8X around Parramatta, chances are it is probably me :)

      Don't use Beats, period.

    • +1

Beats aren't bad headphones perse they're just overpriced from a sound quality point of view. At least thats the impression I get from what I read anyhow.

Personally while I don't own a pair I'd be happy to wear them in public … I mean what's going to happen, some audiophiles (many of whom I consider to be idiots in the first place what with believing confirmation bias doesn't apply to them, claiming that 192kHz sounds amazingly different to CDs and other laughable things) are going to look down on me?

      • I use Beats as a benchmark in terms of popularity, not in terms of quality or value. Just like iPhones and their cascading effect as a barometer of mass consumerism. Even though I personally never own or care much for these overpriced/overrated products.

If you're worried what others think about how you dress, what you wear, then you already fail.

    • which store did you get the black and white from? i can only find red

  • +1

Wear these while using your woodworm umbrella.

Apparently the stock counters on the website aren't up to date, just got rung that there was in fact no stock even though my order went through (Norwood, SA)

  • Great price, the black one looks nice. all sold out in (Perth, WA) unfortunately.

Picked em up just them from my local.

In true Dick Smith reliability they didnt bother calling me at all, messaging me or emailing me to let me know they were ready for pick up.

    • Read your post and thought I may as well pop down and check while I was picking up something else. Sure enough had my order put aside and said they had emailed and sent sms, but nothing on my end.

Just tried them out and they sound pretty good for the price.

  • just picked mine up from box hill vic and they only have orange colour. there were 2 left when i went around 2pm.

I hate Dick Smith.. Sent me a confirmation order to pick up instore but told me out of stock when i get there..

BTW, this headphone sounds good.. tested it in TGG today..

    • 2 days and no confirmation. I will call them before I waste petrol driving over there.

      • I got my click and collect confirmation 14 hours after i picked it up.

  • Just price beat these at Officeworks today, brought in a printout and it was fine. All colours available at Adelaide Street Officeworks in Brisbane

    • Thanks I just went to my local Officeowrks and got it price matched as well, had all colours

    • How much are they at Officeworks?

  • Are these on-ear or over-ear?

    • Have not tried em yet but they look on ear to me.

  • thanks got a blue pair from St Marys SA… had quite a few click n collects behind the counter… any guilty culprits for those ones?

  • one white one left after I picked up one from glen waverley vic.
    2-3 red's.

  • great stocking filler for xmas, damn all other colour sold out.

Red one still avail from Burwood, NSW if anyone keen for red

  • Pickup white one at DS North Sydney this morning, Thanks!!

  • Bought these and started using them today, they are pretty awesome for the price. Can't complain! Thanks OP!!

  • Bought 2 pairs. The sales attendant was quite surprised actually. He also denied receiving my C'n'C which sounds dubious. I had to chase them up.
