Hey guys,

we are running a sale to raise funds for our charity. Mystery box of books for only $5. Please note these are second hand books but mostly in good condition. Around 20 books per box. If you want a specific category (see booksandbits.org.au for the list of categories we have) send me an email and let me know at [email protected] and I will see what we have for you.

Orders must be picked up unless you are willing to pay costs of delivery. It is usually around $20 per box.
Otherwise boxes can be picked up at 91A Cheltenham Road between 10am - 4pm Tues - Thurs.

    Sounds like an awesome initiative. If only I lived in VIC, may consider paying for shipping though. What does the charity support just out of curiosity?

      We support various initiatives in Victoria including Foodbank and SecondBite and provide food to 65 smaller charities that work within their local communities towards food security as well as running training opportunities. We also run our own local kitchen that feeds around 100 people a few times each week.

    I can't seem to load the website at the minute (DDOS by OzBargainers?) - can you please post any more info about what categories you have and what's in each box here?

      I just wanted to follow up that I picked the books up today and met Baz - who is a great bloke. They're doing some great work here, I asked if they needed volunteers, but he said they were more about securing jobs so people could help themselves - so if anyone needs workers, factory workers, office work etc. PLEASE give these guys a call and see if you can help someone, help themselves.
