  • Hmm, has anyone eaten here before/have things to say about it? Main meals seem to range from $26 up.

Interesting point, though…don't know if it's normal since I'm poor and hardly eat at places like this (-wry-) but "minimum spend of $45 per customer applies to friday and saturday dinners." — not applicable for this deal, of course, but still interesting.

If you're looking to spend at this place, as well, you can sign up as a member and print an email saying for "$40.00 Off Your Next Meal", also known as "Pay $80 instead of $120.." —fine print:
"offer requires a minimum spend of $120.00 per couple, 1 voucher per visit.
    Reservations Essential.
Offer expires 2 months from the received date of this email.
Valid Monday – Thursday Lunch or Dinner"

  • I went to icecube with friends for a christmas party before. Their servings are pretty small I would say. for example…I ordered the kingprawn and asparagas entree for about $13 (sorry I can't remember exact price now) and I got 4 prawns and two aparagus on it…

I think it was a bit pricey but you have the views on darling harbour and the interior looks nice.

  • @mintygirl: Haha, no surprise for entrees. -wry- Were their main courses small too?

I remember when I ordered at a 'tapas' place and the prawn dish was like…four prawns. Zuu. No tapas for me ever again..

  • been there on holiday in Sydney, food was crap, service average, and I saw one waiter refuse a customer her entertainment card because it would have made the meal cost below the $45 minimum per person rule (it was a Fri night). The waiter then said if she had a problem she would need to speak to his superior, which she insisted on, then he turned around and said no he in fact the superior on the floor and bluntly put there would be no further negotiation.

    Entertainment Card is a rip-off.

And this Restaurant is a rip-off, too.

  • used to get the $120 platter with lobster and other sea food.
Was about $40 worth of food on it, but we kept going back.

Nicks to the north east of it (like 3 doors away) is much better value and the foods a lot nicer

  • went there on Fiday night. The food was nice, good portion size. Great offer 2 for 1 Sun - Fri 12pm-6.30pm and they took off the minimum charged. They also have other promotions like Monday Night seafood platter is $110(reg price is $135), Tuesday Night all you can eat mussels $24.50, Wedsday Night Fish All Ways $29. Great value
