Nokia Lumia 1520 (Red only) $769.95 + Ship from Mobicity

60

I know this is not AU stock but for who would like to experience the newest and greatest handset from Nokia, it's worth the bucks ;). Also, I believe the reason the red version is cheaper than the others is simply because this is not a matte coated version -> easily slip out of your hand(s) ^_^

I used Nokia 800, 920, 1020 and so far this one is the best of them (except the size is a bit controversial), the battery easily lasts for at least 2 and a half days for normal use, for heavy use, it would also last more than a day. If you're after a great reception, great battery, great camera and office supports, worth a try ;)

  • can someone sum up the 3 main differences between this and 1020?

    • +2

      20mpx camera instead of 41 on 1020
      full-hd 6" instead of 4.5" hd
bigger size and battery than 1020 ;)
and the list can goes on ^_^

      • thank you therapist

        • ;)

        • better processor inside too so should be faster

    • Built in wireless charging as well (no add on case needed)

A friend of mine just bought this, very big, nice screen. You can get one of the case here, some has the none slip grip and all the problem would be solved.

    • yes, the screen is one of the best on smartphone market so far, which has Nokia's new tech to change/modify the brightness based on single pixel, the first tech applied on a phone's screen (save battery, better viewing angles etc)

      • +2

I believe they licensed the tech.

I'm hoping for this phone in something a somewhat less gigantic size though.

I also find the glossy Lumias easier to grip.

also the first smartphone that can take RAW photos, like a DSLR ;)

  • Does anyone know when the HN exclusive end? Keen for a local one at better pricing

    • I think DickSmith might stock up with their own impo stock soon, just like what they did with the Lumia 1020, but the price would pretty much be the same. I think you should wait if patient enough as HN usually has a big sales on Windows Phones, like last time (few weeks ago)
