isn't the idea of buying a pre-made pavlova base that you don't have to make anything?
Throwing some whipped cream and fruit on top of the already made base isnt really 'making' a pavlova (well it is, but in the same culinary level as making toast ;) )

i tried with my local coles they were closing but they didnt match price.

I was looking at the docket deal on your receipt. Is that a product that you buy very often. It sounds like a good deal although I have no idea whether the base price at Liquorland is competitive with those elsewhere.

No I was just curious whether it was a good deal and whether it was targeted or random. Thanks for the offer of the barcode though. I am interested in docket deals in general, how they work, whether they are a good deal or not.

This is most probably a store manager special, and not a country wide sale.
Individual stores are allowed to 'IA' any over supply of stock. Allocated stock like this generally will be reduced quite generously as the store itself won't wear the cost. This is normally done instead of markdown tickets if the quantity is large enough.
