thanks, my 2 year old is addicted to this show. dinosaur….rawwwwwww

    • +1

So is my 20-month old daughter. But that's largely because I became addicted to it myself first :D

  • +1

    Thanks.

How do people 'find' more free stuff on itunes?
I've got FreeSong and AppOffTheDay and 12Days installed, is there something else I should get?

Just like the rest of us, devote your life to ozbargain.

    • This was from the 12 days of gifts app from Apple. If you're looking for apps, bookmark appshopper.com

    Thanks so much!

    Thanks :)

    You are a life saver!

    Silly daddy!
    Thanks OP!

Please note Piers Akerman, all round genius has confirmed that Peppa is a left wing feminist.

    http://blogs.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/piersakerman/index.p…

    • My kids were super excited to hear it

    • +2

      There are right-wing feminists?

    • Of course it's free…it's left wing propaganda.

  • +1

I'll not be surprised if this becomes a gift from Apple tomorrow (with the "12 Days of Gifts" app).

    • Bingo for Day 10 gift.

As a parent, I thank you!

  • +1

    Thank you!

  • +1

oh thanks op, my daughter will be happy with it.
wish you and your family all the best

  • +1

    WOW, Thanks OP.
My 2.5 yr old's gonna think her 2014 Christmas came early !!

Need more episodes to feed that Peppa Pig addiction? Go to ABC For Kids website. They have a number of free videos - http://www.abc.net.au/abcforkids/video/show.htm?show=PEPPA-P…

    • Or ABC iView, where there are heaps. The beauty of this deal is that these can be downloaded for playing where streaming is not an option.

      • How do you download them ?
        I don't see any option !

        • Re-reading my comment, it wasn't as entirely clear as it could have been. "This deal" means the iTunes deal with four free HD episodes. In iTunes, just hit (on touchscreens) the "Free" button.

iView is streaming only, although a commenter below mentions iView Napper as a means to "download" iView content.

Thanks, my daughter will be quite pleased!

  • Pedro Pony, Susy Sheep, Candy Cat etc…of course Peppa Pig, but why George Pig?

    • +2

Because George is short for Petunia.

+1 for animation downloads where kids can learn something - unlike the Teletubbies.

    • I don't actually find PP educational- better off with Wiggles or even Yo Gabba Gabba

      • +7

        Probably not aimed at you

      • +1

But at least PP is aimed at parents and kids. Lots of laughs intended for just Mums and Dads.

  • +1

There's a free service with all the peppa pig episodes. It's a little website called YouTube.

    • +6

I've run into issues in the past getting that to work on my Wi-Fi iPad while we're in the car on a long drive ;)

    • +1

Always good to have them stored on the phone for when junior needs to keep quiet for 10 minutes

      • Apps such as Turbo Downloader will help you download offline copies of YouTube videos.

  • Pedro is a clever cloggs

    • I always thought Edmond the Elephant was the clever cloggs ?

  • +1

    You're a legend!

iView napper can download all content from ABC's iView platform. Follow the download and installation instructions here: http://www.nappers.net/i/index.html

    • This might pry my wife away from all the Doctor Who eps. Actually, it'll make it worse! :D

    • Thanks.

Didn't know of this existence. Tested and worked quite well.

      Cheers.

    Thank you!

    Dupe alert!
Day #10 of 12 Days of Gifts App

    • This was posted a whole day ago though. It's in a gray area.

      • The 12 Days deal will be a dupe! ;-P

  • Does Peppa Pig look better in HD?
Daughter gets enough of it on ABC2

  • If only I could enjoy these lol. Wish I had a kid to give these to - I feel like I'm wasting this freebie!

    • Give your inner child something to watch.

  • +1

    TYVM OP!

  • +1

    Thanks GL.
Does anyone know the size of HD vs SD download sizes?
Can't find it anywhere in iTunes. Cheers

  • +1

    Thanks for sharing!

Grandson & others love this show but it has me beat as to the popularity. But I do watch it with him.

  • +1

Dunno if the regular DVDs look similar, but this HD version looked fantastic! Unless the usual ABC iView versions are pretty crap.
