      You're on drugs mate.

Jasper is excellent coffee. Their Fitzroy store is fantastic, and their beans are amazing.
      http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/71/1576716/restaurant/Melbourne/…

The problem is that Officeworks are selling their beans after leaving them in a warehouse for 12 months so they are stale. Avoid! I've seen them at OW with a roast date of FOURTEEN months earlier.
      Cheap? Yes. Value? Absolutely not.

But if you buy the beans direct and fresh from Jasper they are excellent.
Blend 2/5/10 are my faves: https://www.jaspercoffee.com/category.do?idCateg=4 <- mail order link

For the record - beans should be used from about 3-4 days after roasting, till about 6-8 weeks after roasting.
Beans should be ground immediately before drinking - after half an hour, ground coffee is stale.

      • I agree re 3-4 days to start but they start to lose flavour within a couple of weeks. Subject to subjective palate of course.

Cannot see any availability for any capital city postcodes, nor is it available online. Unless the OP can show at least some postcodes with availability, I wouldn't bother wasting anytime looking

They are all available online and you can select in-store pick up when you check out. It will be ready to pick up in 2 - 6 business days.

      • Different area online orders are filled by different fulfillment centres so stock will vary by postcode for online orders. Changing the postcode in the top right of the site will set online availability for that postcode. What postcode/s did you find stock for?

        • I used my postcode which is 4301. Also tried 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000 which all have stock.

          P.S. Sorry I didn't check Tassie. ;)

        • Just checked Hobart and the $8 is available for online order + store pick up.

        • None at 3000, 3143, 3055

        • Hi meiliu100,
Add it to your cart, go to checkout, select store pick up and it will be available for any of those postcodes. I just tried it.

        • Thanks, donga100
Tried it just then, but it shows your cart is empty.
          Nevermind

        • In the top right hand corner change your location to Brisbane 4000 and it will then be available to order and pick up in those Melbourne postcodes.

        • not really, once you go through the payment you will get: Product JASPN11KGB cannot be back ordered.

        • Same here, it shows cart subtotal $0

        • Just tried and I get the same message for that particular blend but all others work.

        • It doesn't work, I'm getting the same message.

  • Out of stock everywhere I looked

  • No stock for Tassie.

Damn! the $9 blend is sold out!

I settled with the $8 bags. Being cheap and ethically sourced gives me peace of mind.

  • Soooo are these beans terrible or what? Price seems insanely low.

    • +1

Not a coffee drinker myself so can't really comment. The low prices are because they are clearance stock. Other (non-clearance) blends of Jasper Coffee are being sold for $46.30 per 1kg bag at Officeworks.
      http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Kitchen-and-Cl…

    • Officeworks are clearing stock of these coffees and the price will reduce until all of them are sold. Normal price for these is $50/kg+.

      • The beans are very good when fresh. This "bargain" is for old stock of 1-year-old stale beans.

  • Jasper is great, great coffee. The international roast of beans? You joker.

  • $8 to $15 Jasper Organic Whole Bean Coffees are all "out of stock online", and none showing available in any stores in Adelaide.

    • -1

All five varieties are still showing as in stock online for me.

  • There is also Jasper Coffee Cafe Femenino Certified Fairtrade Organic 250g for $2.00 here - http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Kitchen-and-Cl…

    It's Ground Coffee though

    • That one looks like it's out of stock.

      • ok just saw it online and thought that it was in stock.

The out of stock comments surprise me. I just ordered two kgs JASPAF1KGB DW-JASPER NUIGINI OKAPA BEAN 1KG.
Order online, payment accepted and with pickup at Aspley QLD. I'm not a fifty bucks/kilo kind of guy but will happily try this "old" or otherwise bargain. Thanks to the OP!
That said, I note that I can't currently check delivery status - "Sorry, there was an error with your request"
