Flight to Dublin TOMORROW please help

My 102yr old gran has just died in Dublin and I'm trying to get my folks on a cheapish flight for tomorrow sometime. Preferably with Etihad or Emirates as they fly direct. I'm on my way to work and it's very difficult to check on my phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance

My folks are going to the travel agents this morning but I don't want them getting ripped off

  • Sorry they're flying from Brisbane

Wasn't sure when they wanted to return so I put in the 11th February thinking they might like a couple of weeks since they are travelling such a long way. $1950 per person on Etihad if booking on the Virgin Australia website. Price should be similar on Etihad or with travel agent.

Double checked with mobile app. Return from $1999 multiple airline, eg Air France, British. One way Qantas, as per Carolina88, STA travel, total price $1140.78.

    Expedia:

    Brisbane depart 8:50pm

    1 stop in Dubai

    Dublin arrival: 11:20am

One way travel: $1,174 (per person)

    Flying with: Qantas

  • Thanks heaps guys. I was thinking a turnaround of about 2 weeks too so that looks pretty good. At least they're armed with those prices before they head to the travel agents. I normally book their flights for them online but because I'm on site today I've no chance. Thanks again

    • Good on you for posting here. A lot of unscrupulous travel agents would take advantage of an elderly couple travelling on short notice so I hope they managed to get a good price based on the suggestions here.

Wow Darling - that was a spectacular age. Your good friends on our site have certainly helped - hope you have achieved a good price - Car-la-la in particular found a great one. Sorry for your loss but enjoy catching up with the family - & don't forget to pack some thermal underwear + much warm clothing - Dublin in January ? BBRRHH !!! You'll be going from hot + temperatures to probably - temperatures. Good luck on the trip - look forward to hearing the end of the story when you return home. Take care.
