Just received this from Virgin Mobile:

I think this is the best I could get from my Virgin Prepaid phone for now.
NOTE: I don't think Virgin mobile prepaid credit expires after 30days, bcos I still have the same credit for more than 90days. I will be DOUBLING it up now.

Virgin credit lasts 180 days according to their website….couldn't find any mention of this deal though, which does worry me a little - once confirmed, it'll def. get a pos from me :D

Be cautious with Virgin, took me 8 weeks and 4 calls, including fax+email to get their promise to deliver on double-up credit deal and will find out only next week if they really do. I had Virgin postcard delivered by post ! I'd bet one department doesn't know what the other does…

In order to get this Offer, you must write a letter by postal mail to the TELECOMMUNICATIONS INDUSTRY OMBUDSMAN.
Virgin will not double your credit until they get a letter from the TIO.
I know this, from experience.
Don't ring their call-centre (based in Manilla, Phillipines) - they are less than useless. Just go direct to the TIO.
If my last attempt at getting $20 credit out of them is any indication of their stinginess, then good luck to anybody taking up this offer:
