  Add in the cashback and its free.

  ***** BUYING FROM A LOCAL RETAILER verses BUYING FROM BING LEE *****

  Following is a faithful narrative of my experience purchasing a LG 50" FHD 3D Smart from BING LEE yesterday.
  11:30am 20/02/2014 - I purchased a LG 50" FHD 3D Smart on the BING LEE web site.

  3:05pm 20/02/2014 - I received an email from "temando" saying my goods were waiting to be picked up and would be delivered 21/02/2014. I was supplied with a tracking number for TNT Express.

  3:30pm 20/02/2014 - Organised to have the 21/02/2014 off work

  9:00pm 20/02/2014 - TNT tracking said the goods had been picked up.

  9:30am 21/02/2014 - TNT tracking said goods on board truck and delivery would be before 5pm. I made a point of staying home all day with the front door open and my car in the driveway.

  1:00pm 21/02/2014 - I emptied the mailbox of all mail.

  4:15pm 21/02/2014 - I checked TNT tracking and status it reported the following
  "2014-02-21 15:54:39 Attempted Delivery (card Left) Card Left Not Home (Private)"

  4:16pm 21/02/2014 - I checked the mailbox … it was empty there was no card left !!!

  4:17pm 21/02/2014 - I rang and spoke with a senior Manager at TNT … said they would investigate and call me back.

  4:44pm 21/02/2014 - Manager rang me back and said the Truck was nearly back at the depot and couldn't be turned around. Incidentally, the trip from my place to Depot would be approx a 90mins drive.

  4:55pm 21/02/2014 - I rang BING LEE and said I didn't want the TV. They were very apologetic and immediately agreed to a refund.

  I'm sharing my experience in order to allow others more information when deciding to purchase from BING LEE. This experience has cost me more than the savings made on the price of the TV. The Cost of an item isn't just the purchase price.
