I Logged onto eBay today and was greeted with a 20% off voucher.
Max $50 off therefore you can spend 250 to get the most out of the voucher.

The voucher appeared in the banner section on the main page where it changes every few seconds. The voucher was on the first page.

Can someone confirm they have this too?

    It's a targeted offer.

  • Nothing on any of my family's accounts, or that of my partner. These promotions are narrowly targeted based on criteria only known to eBay. :)

  • I got one, thanks.

  • Got the email too, having trouble deciding what to buy now. Was showing on the front page too, unless they was targeted at me as well.

  • Ooh thanks for making me aware. I got the email too.

Maybe I should enable those spammy emails :(

    • I have them enabled, but still receive nothing. They probably think I already use eBay enough :Þ

      • eBay has been sending me discount codes once or twice a year for the past few years — most of them have been 10% off, though.

Not really sure why they chose my account for such codes — I'm not a particularly heavy user (~200 feedback in 10 years) and I rarely sell things. :)

That's probably why – they want to encourage you to spend more on there ;)
