Dual Saw Multi-Purpose Saw CS 450, $99 at Target. 50% off

90

I had seen this on TV and at Bunnings/Masters. But Target currently has it at 50% off, from RRP $199. I'd never pay full price for it, but at $99 it's cheaper than most of the other knock brands, or about the same and cheaper than eBay/Gumtree sales.

I just hope it isn't a dud for actual functionality.

Target Doncaster is where I got it from.

Great find. But would it not be better to price match this at Bunnings? As I recall you can shave another 5% off.

    • Yes, it would have. But Bunnings stock a slightly different model, this one is 1050W and theirs is 1200w. I guess could have bluffed my way with that one, I suggest others try it and see.

      • Is this similar to the Ozito twin cutter? Local bunnings Had that on special for 79 bucks if I am not mistaken, anyone confirm?

Edit: never mind, looks like it is the same and it's 69 according to the below

AWESOME!!! Been waing for this to come on special ever since I saw it on an infomercial ages ago. My wife says, "What do you want one of those for?" What? It's a Dual saw. Who wouldn't want one?

    • sounds like my wife LOL … !!

    • tell her it cuts tomatos - as per the infomercial.

  • Not sure Bunnings stocks it.
    I found the CS650S here http://www.bunnings.com.au/dualsaw-destroyer-1200w-dual-blad…

But the Target model is the CS450.

  • Is CS450 the runout model?

    • Possibly, they had plenty there. But I've never seen them at a Target before, either.

Every time I see these I break into my best american accent "the dool saw". Must be all the original ads for these from the USA.

    • Then I imagine cutting a car in half!

  • Is this stocked nationwide?

How is this any better than the $69 Ozito at Bunnings?

    http://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-1200w-125mm-corded-twin-cut…

I've been meaning to get one before the special ends there. Should I get the Target one instead?
I normally avoid anything that says "as seen on TV".
Never heard of this brand, but it sounds like a lot of people here have been watching infomercials. Why would you do that?

    • 3 year replacement warranty with ozito. can't beat that.

      heh. got beaten below.

meh, the ozito dual saw at bunnings with 3 yr warranty is less than this.

both should work well. i tried the ozito on some old water pipe and cut straight through.

  • Damn you ozbargain . Now have to get me one of those saw table and clamping tools…. shopping night tonight. .. must resist. …

  • Can it cut bricks???
